Hallooo, I have been using Windows 98 and then Me since time immemorial. I also had Windows XP which I did not use because it suffers from a strange problem. First of all, my system is a Celeron A 500 Mhz processor Vesta motherboard with Intel i810e chipset and integrated AC '97 sound. 128MB SD-RAM 40 GB Samsung HDD (upgraded) 40x Acer CD 8x4x32x iomega CD-RW drive 15" LG monitor Well, the problem, as I recently found out, is not limited to XP alone, but also on 2000. The problem is that whenever I run XP or 2k, after running for half-an-hour or so, the system SEEMS to go to standby, only thing is that it does not wake-up, CD eject buttons don't work, the monitor goes to standby, the HDD-LED keeps lit, and pressing the Reset button gets me nowhere. The only thing to do is to press the Power button and Power back on. This does not happen in 98 or Me. PLEASE HELP!!!
