Bashrat's driver pack Promise driver is for raid but i hava only sata or im wrong

i got a idea put the drivers on the cd original and compress burn it on a bootable cd start the cd pres F6 set Promise sata for WINXP select harddrive format the hdd normaley windows xp give a error that he cannot find the driver but now the driver is on the cd so can this work? i think that this work because the drivers is selected from diskette and when he need the driver acan its on the cd. so can this fixet the problem?

I have a sata disk of Promise. so as you know a unattended xp gife a error when jou use a diskette. the guide from greenmachine i dont understand hem because i have a Promise Sata 579/518. my motherbord is • K8T Neo2-FIR • i dont no what if it work if i copy the drivers to the cd the original files and makecab files can this work? or can some one help me slipstreaming the drivers into TXTSETUP.SIF? sorry for my english

remove the drive. start windows xp. then look into your registery if the follow is setting good: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Atapi\Parameters look on the subkey "EnableBigLba" set him on 1. shutdown your pc en install the hdd. start-up your pc en format the drive. i hope that this help you out of this problem. windows xp have this problem when you install a hdd after the windows installation. sory for my bad english. i know how you can disable sfc but there is a cache fo sfc on the hdd. i know how i can remove the cache but im looking for a automatich file someting like a cmd of vsb.

how can i remove the sfc cache?? when you run start > run > cmd > sfc /purgecache the cache off sfc will be empty. leave /purgecache for to see other options. but my question is how can i do this in a unatteneded windows xp installation?? Laurens.

I have a list off questions: when i have install longhorntransformationpack i get on the first logon the option to thoose the visual style for my windows xp. so my question is this possible to set it on my unattended installation off xp?? when i install FlyakiteSP15.1 the download manerge of internet explore is change the proces bar is vertical en not horisonal. can i get this whitout install FlyakiteSP15.1?? because i dont want a OS X look. windows media center is the same as the xp professional but at the end of the instalation windows xp professional chance into windows media center. can i slipstream xp media center in a xp professional cd?? if it is run only on the pro version then is it no problem i have the pro version to. but there is no mce version dutch. but when i install mce the complete instalation is the same as the pro version. (even the boot.ini is the same as pro) only when the instalation is finist transformatin pro to mce. so i think that it is posible to fix it. (even as the dutch version off pro) so i hope that samebody know how i have to do it. tnx Laurens

I have a normal windows xp home edition. (dutch) Can i slipstreaming windows mce into windows xp home edition? I found a cab file in the cd off windows mce. When i extract the file and open the map i found a file called ESchell.exe but he dont work. So i hope that some one can help me. Tnx Laurens
