I have gotten my Micro nero down to around 13 MB.

Yes it is suppose to be hidden, Its so people don't delete it. It holds registry files (for registering some programs) and a bunch of needed stuff. Right click the folder and click the 'make this folder hidden' box. Make sure you don't have 'show hidden files and folders' on.

It doesn't really work, I have tried on Vista and Windows 7. I did not see a increase in speed.

There are some bugs in this installer, like the shortcut. Mara does not want to waste bandwith uploading just for a faulty shortcut as he has previously stated. Only when a new version of nero comes out. And you said the uninstaller is a virus, it is just a false positive, as it is packed with UPX.

I will check. Edit: I just Removed all my USB devices and rebooted, it took the same time to boot. Also disabled USB devices in the BIOS, and it took the same tome to boot.

I dont think I did. I will check if I have anything plugged in. Would it be a USB mouse\keyboard?

Oh wow, I did not see the 'Save' text in the window. Now im looking through the log, and I found one spot goes from 11.06.26 to 11.07.21 then to 11.08.15. Hard to explain. If you want me to upload it, ask. Or did you have something else in mind?

I click ok, and I let it run for an hour, and the percent bar is at 0, time left says 300hours. I dont think that is right. Maybe im opening the wrong file? So I booted up Processmon it asked me if I wanted to open a log file. I went to the Windows dir, there wasnt a file there. So I exited out. Then went to file open and went to the windows dir and there the file was (In a PMB not PML format). Where would the PML file be?

Ok, I did that. Now when im opening the log file it gives me this. Should I just click add, or do I have to put something in the boxes? I dont want to waste an hour+ for it to do its thing (if necessary).

Well I just loaded Windows 7 on a couple of days ago, and it has a really slow boot (5-7min). So I enabled boot log. There are a few errors that come up. Did not load driver \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\NDProxy.SYS (says it four times) Did not load driver \SystemRoot\System32\DRIVERS\srv.sys I also had Did not load driver \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\vga.sys But im in the middle of reinstalling the videocard driver as I type. So vga.sys isnt the problem because it is out of my system. So it has to be one of the two above. Anyone have any ideas?

Well im trying to install some stuff I have on some DVD's, I pop in the dvd, then I try to install it. It starts installing, but then it stops responding. I dont know if the disc is spinning or not, as I connot hear it. Any fix for this? And its not my drive. It works on vista.

Go google ResHacker. Download it and open Shell32.dll. Look for your icon and replace it with the icon you want.

Ok I have an idea. Right before you are going to click 'create SFX' go to where NAR is and open config.txt. Search for the word 'REMOVEAPP' and replace it with 'EXCLUDEAPP' (without the quotes), then build the installer. It might work, it might not. You can also try removing the '/i' from the command line.

Looks like he was using Vista. There are a few 3rd party apps out there. One that I have used for a while is Teracopy.

Since you have a 3450, you could probably fit a slim 8800GT card.

def.exe is a program that adds the default language to the registry.

/S will do it, but it will install the toolbar with it. You could also repack it so there is no toolbar. Ill see if I can find my repack version.
