  1. duron 800, you could chip off most of the core (accidentally using badly designed coolers and a heavy hand) and they'd still work no problem
  2. xp is far bigger than 98, so it takes up nore hard drive space, these results would be expected.
  3. run the file through compression bin (found here) http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...47entry174047 ^scroll down a bit or manually makecab and modifype the file and overwrite the one in the i386 folder
  4. untick the one in nlite tweaks and you'll only have ryan's in place (which I always unregister anyway!)

  11. yeah, I found this out by accident because I forgot to add my username once, now I leave username, computername and password blank each time
  12. can the Compression Bin be put on the Advanced section of the unattended guide? -with Jcarle's permission, its one of the most useful and hard to find tools on msfn!

  17. http://ryanvm.msfn.org/ installers for adobe reader 6 and 7, .net 1.1 SP1, java also, look here for an awesome updates pack http://ryanvm.msfn.org/updatepack.html&e=10313 (you integrate it as a hotfix in nlite and it'll install all the patches included in it)

  19. in your bios, does it give you the option to make it the first boot device?
  20. try changing RunProgram="cmdow.exe /RUN /HID run.cmd" to RunProgram="cmdow.exe" /RUN /HID run.cmd also, RyanVM has already made an exe for this with all patches in, google for 'ryanvm'
  21. pc version of GTA VC is smoother on pc, nicer graphics, far easier to control (mouse), and you get the sound through your soundcard
