  1. I have 2 questions about the Nero 8.1.1.0b autoit script. First: For the variable $ID, what is wrong with my installation directory code? The script generated an error during install saying my installation directory was not valid. Here is a screenshot--> Below is the code I used in the .au3 file: Second: I don't understand what I need to put for the $EF variable. I have just been leaving it blank, as I am simply running the .exe package I directly downloaded from Nero. Is that what I should be doing? Any help to these questions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot for the amazing script, btw!
  2. As per this thread, I am trying to slipstream the 8.1 and 8.1.1 Acrobat Professional updates into the Arobat 8.0 Professional base file. However, I have tried time and time again to transform AcroPro.msi to AcroPro.mst, and each and every time it fails. Here is the command I use: This is the error I keep getting EVERY SINGLE TIME: I am always in the proper directory where the .msi is located. Grrr...why does it have to be so hard to sllipstream Acrobat 8.0 updates to get a nice clean install. Anyone have any suggestions how to actually get this to work?
  3. **UPDATE** Using the latest non-RC version of nlite resolved the 9-minute install hang. Not sure what the problem is in 1.RC2, but that was definitely the problem. I am having the EXACT same problem in Windows XP Home SP2 using NLite 1.4RC2. I do NOT have any of the same addons as were shown in the .ini files linked in the first post. Any resolutions to the Windows XP bug mentioned here? Just as a refresher, the install runs completely fine until 9 minutes. Then the install hangs while trying to save the settings. Here is my .ini, just for the record. Windows_xp_home.INI I am reverting back to nLite 1.3.5 and crossing my fingers that this fixes whatever the problem is.
  4. I am trying to do a silent install without some of the default options checked. For a little background info: I used universal extractor to extract the setup.exe file, and located the iofile.ini, which seems to contain the Install option switches for the checkboxes. I am trying to DISable the following options: 1. Add Desktop Shortcut" 2. Context menus 3. "Automatically check for updates" Any ideas how to repackage the installer so that these options are disabled by default, and the install is silent? How do you tell the CCleaner slim installer not to use the registry? Also, what program do you use to repackage the .exe setup file?
