  1. Strel: i have made an pack with the two latest security fixes appeared last weeks and i have now errors 1023 (dozens of time) when installing the pack at T-13: i have attached the process data. PROCESSDATA.7z PROCESSDATA.7z
  2. i think you have removed to much with nLite.
  3. you can edit the setup files of windows xp, search in the appropriate section (not in the nlite section) of this forum
  4. Maybe it's a problem related to .net framework ? If i was you i will try to uninstall any .net framework (use the cleanup tool if needed http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/NET-Framework-Cleanup-Tool-Download-116561.html ) And then resintall the .net 3.5 package (you can use the one made by user_hidden, very good and up to date http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7186 )
  5. try this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en
  6. Strel, about WaitNet: If i understand this correctly it make the system wait for the .net runtime optimization to finish, so we can do the optimization @T-13 with no errors* instead of doing this at the first boot. I insist on this because i already have some programs that run on first boot like the driverpacks finisher, an antivirus installer and a script to optimize/clean-up things, and it will be worse for those who use apps like WPI. Beside, an user may don't understand why the system is so unresponsive (mscorsvw.exe take 100% of a monocore CPU for a relative long time). It's not a problem if it make the install last longer @T-13 because no user interaction is needed/possible. * Even if mscorsvw.exe is now executed at GuiRunOnce (or RunOnceEx? don't know) I always have this error 1111 in the event viewer: NET Runtime Optimization Service (clr_optimization_v2.0.50727_32) - Service reached limit of transient errors. Will shut down. Last error returned from Service Manager: 0x800736b1. Thank you for taking this into account!
  7. Hi strel. Using 20100105, no more errors at the uninstall time. Thank you for the update I have the usual errors, no harming i think:
  8. unrelated to the former post , but do you know WaitNet ? http://www.doitrightconsulting.net/forum/v...p?f=3&t=517
  9. Hi strel, with latest snmsynth (20100103, installed from svcpack), i have an error message when i uninstall .net 3 langpack (french) Same error when i uninstall .net2.0sp2 "Problem detected in this Windows install package. A script required for this installation can't be lanched. Contact the technical support or the editor" when i click OK, a second popup appear with the following message: " irrecoverable error when installing" in the event viewer i have two errors 11720 with this content: I have attached processdata. Edit: when checking event viewer, i realized i have a lot of errors due to .net : in chronological order: At install time: error 10005: error 1111: Error 4: (3times) at uninstall time: Error 11720: Error 3011: Error 3013: (2 times) Error 11720: i have uninstalled in this order: .net3.5 langpack; .net 3.5; .net3 langpack; .net3; .net2 langpack; .net2 PROCESSDATA.TXT
  10. Thanks for the fix strel! tested 3.5sp1 t-13 adddon, seems to works fine. Happy New Year !
  11. Hi Strel I encountered an error when building all in one installer with snmsynth 20091229: despite of that, the installer was builded, not tested attached processdata: PROCESSDATA.TXT
  12. Running XP Pro X86 Svcpack addon of .net 3.5sp1 created with snmsynth 20091127 In the Event log, i always have and error (ID1111) with this content: now the .NET Runtime Optimization is delayed at the fisrt run i believed this error was gone ? i also install antivirus and some finisher at guirunonce, is this the cause ? How can i avoid that ?
  13. Bump, it's an old thread but it's still an open thread! so, if i disable the SFC i can safely delete all KB******.CA_ from my svcpack folder ? i use an update pack for xp sp3 and i have about 200 of those.
  14. .net 1.0 is superseded by .net 1.1. Both have very little use today.
  15. sorry, i didn't update this cause i use this one now: http://arayashiki.free.fr/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=55
  16. I'm glad i have helped you! Thank your for the update strel, everything is workin fine now!
  17. The only two wo MSIxxx.log files i have are in the rar archive. Same content for both (i have uninstalled the langpack two times) the content is:
  18. Yes, i have deleted all files before uncompressing 20091104c. it's a virtual installation of XPSP3 with an update pack integrated. I have installed .net 2+3+3.5 @ T-13, tested an encoutered the error when uninstalling, then i have tested a other build, with all frameworks this time, installed directly, then uninstalled, same error showing as you can see. I have attached both processdata.txt in a zip file, and all the log i have found in the temp folder is in this rar archive processdata.zip
  19. i just reinstalled (with a different build: all frameworks this time) in live system, same error when uninstalling: in english : Windows Installer has encoutered an unexpected error when installing this package. It's maybe a problem related to this package. The error code is 2721 as i said it's not really annoying because the package will uninstall anyway.
  20. Strel: with 20091104c no more errors on uninstalling 3.5sp1, but an error message appears when uninstalling 3.0 langpack. No trace in event viewer, uninstallation is succesful anyway.
