Thats the thing...I just install Win7 so I dont have an Anti-Virus. On Internet Explorer I can tell that its a fake Google page. I attached a picture of the "google". (BTW, I use google chrome.) EDIT: Wait, is that just the new google?

Whenever I open an .exe file I havent installed yet (Like HijackThis, Ad-Aware installs) it says "HijackThis.exe is not a valid Win32 application" Also, google on internet explorer is weird. I can't run Malware Bytes because I get an error I have advanced system care so i can view a hijack this but whenever i save it the notepad file is EMPTY. Please help! I have Windows 7 Professional 32-Bit. 512 MB RAM and a 8GB SSD (I know its not the specs but it still runs real fast!) Its an acer aspire one a110. Also, whenever I startup the PC it says Windows created a temporary pagefile and it will be bigger than i excpected EVERY time i log in!

my friends signal is weak to his router and whenever hes on it it disconnects from msn and tries to reconnect so he cant do anything on it...is there any OS tweaks he can do to his pc (without spending money)?

Hi im using XP and im trying to connect to my Windows 7 account using my network places, i can do this successfully although i cannot view the cd drives so i can't view my dvds which i could before when our pc was on vista. What do i have to do to view the CD drives on my laptop?

Also it doesnt show my battery % even though i set it to laptop/portable

1) OK, my Windows XP goes through the loading bar 30 TIMES before it says welcome. It used to only go through 8 times on my old installation... 2)When I shutdown (not restart) my PC it says "It is now safe to turn off your computer" how do i change this? 3) My sound echos and is staticy...when someone signs in on msn the sound is slow, gets stuck inbetween the noise echoing and staticy and at the end it plays normally...Before it used to say "HHCTRL.OCX" has not been found so i replaced the file and i still get this problem! Its an Acer Aspire One 8GB SSD (Speeded up with flash fire so its not slow xD) 512MB of ram Windows XP SP2 Nlited and it uses Realtek HD Audio Manager...I do not know the name of my speaker card but its an Aspire One A110. I get my drivers from here If my speaker is broken, I have £250 to get a new one but all the ones with a CD drive (fed up of booting USBs) are over £250! EDIT: Editing to correct spelling errors

Its the exact same problem this person had and they said it only happens with Windows Enterprise. I try and vLite Windows 7 Professional and I get t exact same error.

So, i've nlited my XP thanks to you guys but I have came across a problem I've done all my speed tweaks but XP is still slower than usual. - "Windows is shutting down" 2mins and 15 seconds! It used to take only 30 seconds! Clear Page file at shutdown is disabled...Please help!

The solution actually was unticking "Manual Install and Upgrade" on nLite
