What's a "nic"? ATT spent 2 hrs. here trying to get it to pull an IP. They think it's an app. preventing it. They suggested to re-install my OS.

ATT cable broadband. Motorola "surfboard" cable modem. - The basics..............They were able to get an IP from their laptop, so It's my PC that is at fault.

Probably not the right forum but..........ATT broadband just left my house unable to pull an IP on my PC. They said it's up to me. They tried everything they know. Anyone here experienced with this?
