  1. Just downloaded this. I love it! Great work! I love the new installer.
  2. Ah man, this is awesome! It's great that people are still out there getting non supported programs to run on good 'ol 2000
  3. Has anyone tried installing this game under Windows 2000? Even though it says it's not supported, it miight still run. I'm hopeful
  4. I recieved an error when I tried to start the installer.
  5. I have a used Linksys router lying around that I was planning on using. But I'm debating getting a modem/router combo.
  6. The ActionTec modem is fine for normal webbrowsing but it doesn't forward ports. If I can get the modem real cheap, I might get it, but I'm more focused on getting a different modem.
  7. Hi everyone. I recently got a notice in the mail informing me that I have DSL access in my area. This is a major change from the 56k I've been using since I first got a computer. Now comes the issue of the modem I want to use. The Qwest service I'll be subscribing to will issue me an ActionTec DSL modem. I've heard nothing but bad things about this type of modem, and I want to buy a different modem. Can anyone recommend a decent dsl modem to buy? I have no background in DSL modems, so I'm going a little blindly here, if anyone can recommend a DSL modem, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, CaptainStacks
  8. Only thing I can remember is forgetting to plug stuff in.
  9. So I can run this on my 2000 machine and it'll work?
  10. AFAIK Win2k server is NOT 64-bit. Win2k3 is a different story Thanks for the clarification
  11. The only thing that I noticed was the great looking installer, then you click install and the commmand console opens and it's less streamlined. It's not a big deal, but that's really all I can think of.
  12. Thank you, this is great looking!
  13. Just reinstalled the newest version on my NT4 box. I love it
  14. Just curious to know if anyone here plays Guild Wars. I have the Prophecies and Factions campaign. If anyone does play, we should play sometime, I'll post my main characters name.
  15. I think the ram limitations have to do with it being a 32bit operating system. If 2000 Server is 64bit, it might be able to adress those extra gigs.
  16. I just downloaded this and ran the .exe I didn't notice any type of installer open, although I walked away for a minute. Now my clock has dissappeared, and I'm thinking a restart will get it going.
  17. Anyone know the original cost of that harddrive?
  18. Well, I decided to put a side install of NT4.0 on my main computer. When I installed drivers for my Geforce 5600 and rebooted, I was greeted with errors saying that NVCPL.DLL couldn't be accessed. I've upgraded the install to SP6 in case that helps. I've also uninstalled the drivers and installed them in different areas, to see if that would work. I haven't had any success. A thought at first that maybe NT4 didn't support AGP, so I stuck in a PCI 5500, and that didn't work either. I'm stumped, and I'm hoping someone could maybe give some insight to why I can't get my graphics card to work under NT4. Thanks! CaptainStacks
  19. My hometown just got battered with a storm. Me and a friend were wasting time in Wal-Mart and when we were walking out the doors, it was raining sideways. The sewer drains in the parking lots were having a hard time keep up. We cruised around for a little while, enjoying the empty town.
  20. I agree, I just can't get used to diet soda.
  21. Awesome, I was hoping this movie would be good. I really enjoyed the previous movies.
  22. Hi everyone, I'm currently searching for a firewall that's up-to-date and compatible with NT 4.0. Can anyone recommend a software firewall? Thanks, Captain.
