i have searched a lot in the forums but i did not find a good answer to my problem. what i would like to do is that to change the colour of the progress bar which is shown when the WINDOWS IS RUNNING i.e during setup of some s/w, during copying, etc can u tell me what is going wrong? i have a vista like visual style which shows the progress animations with the glass effect as below: prog.bmp but when i extract the progress bar chunk and change its colour and then reload it what i get is a very different progress bar. prog_cng.bmp i just wanted to change the green colour to red but everything is just messed up as u can see. i am uploading the resource file containing the chunks if u can please modify them to red colour and upload or please show me where i can get it because i dont know very well about graphics............... so please help........... the uploaded res file link is: http://www.sendspace.com/file/huk2v2

is it possible to replace the windows animated tour with my own created flash file? if yes please help me? i want to use it to inform the user about the s/w that is integrated in the unattended install or if there is some other way in which i can run a webpage like thing on the first boot after installation please help................

thanks spacesurfer for ur help but when i am replacing an icongroup with an .ico file i am not able to replace it or update it.the replace option is blurred. how can this be done? in reshack i'm getting an eroor message "out of system resource" and if i ignore it and save the file no changes are occuring the same old icon reappears i am attaching the screenshot please help...

does anybody know how to use resedit to change icons in shell32.dll or any site dealing with this. there's a lot of things in resedit which i dont understand. to change the icons whether i would have to change the individual icons or the icongroups. please help i would be greatful for your help
