i just wanted to know about nod32 When i use the torrent softwares there are a lot of intrusion attempts by trojan horse on my PC and nortan stops those...can NOD handle those....coz i would really like to try NOD out...but i need internet security most of all

create a shortcut to the nero.exe and then copy it to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs this will add the shortcut to all users in start menu-> all programs.

hi i have just added a folder options and network connections icon in my my computer window through a registry tweak . i wanted to know that how can i change the icons being displayed for them. where are these icons located and the files containing them. i want to include these in my UA cd so that the changed icons are displayed as default.......

hi i have a problem in my answer file........... only this portion i want to do it manually : during the textmode portion of the setup process at the place where setup detects the partitions existing in the drive and prompts to select the partition where to install the os.previously after selecting the partition i used to get a screen prompting me to format the drive having 4 options quick format - ntfs , fat and full format - ntfs , fat.i want to do this process manually. but now whem i use the answer file after the partition selection i do not get any option to format but what i get is a screen which says me to delete the existing folder or name any other folder but i dont want this i want to have the option to format the partition this is a portion of my winnt.sif : i think that there is a problem in this portion. any help please..........

hi i just made my unattended installation cd. i used hfslip to integrate hotfixes and then nlite to reduce the source size and everything went out well. now when i installed with this cd i got into xp with the 2000 visual style and also i could not apply any other visual style also....... i also installed brickopack of crystalxp afterwards and even after uninstalling it i am able to apply the visual styles without any problem. i had patched the source to use unsigned visual style but i have no idea why i am getting this error........... also i did not remove the luna visual style from the source.

hi i would love to shrink my source of office but whenever i do it i get error a lot of errors and nothing is done. most of the errors ar ERROR 1308 AND THESE WINDOWS COME AND GO CONTINIOUSLY i have tried atleast 10 times and every time i get the same problem anybogy please tell what are the problems.......... pleaaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

hi i just used hfslip to slipstream my source with update and created a bootable iso but now when i am testing it on a virtual m/c i am gtting an error dvdplay.exe missing during textmode copy i dont know what is the prob? any help please ............... attached log file: HFSLIP.txt what do i do?

no i cant compress them together............ would it be possible if i just delete the "SOURCESS\I386\HFSLPGUI.CMD" and add an entry for ie7 IE7_INST.EXE in the svcpack.inf after copying IE7_INST.EXE to svcpack folder........

hi i just used hfslip to integrate ie7 in my win xp source. but by mistake i forgot to place the hfanswer.ini in the hftools folder. so it is being installed at the first logon but i want to integrate it into svcpack to install at t-13. so my question is that what changes in which file / files i would have to do in order to do this.because i dont want to repeat the whole slipstreaming process again. please help.............. i am having a windows volume licence version......

i am using hfslip 1.6.2 . i wanted to know that whether png transparency is working on ie7 slipstreamed in this version. i read a thread on some cases in which it was working so i just wanted to confirm if its working in this release.

i saw it could have been useful but it has options for allow permissions and i need to deny permission. i want do deny full control to the group : CREATOR OWNER please reply if it is possible

hi i made my first unattended xp install cd today and it was really very good.i wanted to remove a lot of components from the xp setup and this i did by providing entries in the answer file winnt.sif now that i dont want to install these things i want that these should be removed completely from the cd to free up some space. so is it okay if i just delete the files related to them from the source or would this cause some error. if there is any alternative please let me know to free up space occupied by these components. i also read in one of the posts that the stupid search dog could be removed and this could save some space.if it is right please tell me how
