There was a large meteor/asteroid that hit Arizona around 50,000 years ago. It is called Meteor Crater and there was never a meteorite found. Possibly a small piece of the asteroid from the Sunday fly-by may have hit the Earth ... pretty good explosion from that small piece, wherever it came from. That's a good point ... didn't think about that. So I guess they all have "pre-access" to a person's email but do they "search around and save" everything like Google ... or are they just simply filtering for spam?

If this was already talked about or discussed ... I didn't see any mention of it before. A quiet court case in CA with revelations about Gmail. Maybe not a big deal ... but some might want to look for another email client. I went to another email client about a year ago ... my e-mails are not important anyway. I don't know how much the other companies also "spy" or "read" emails. "Google made a choice. They said, you know what, when people are accessing emails by an iPhone, we are not able to get their information. When people aren't opening their emails or they are deleting them, we are not able to get their information. When people are using Google Apps accounts where ads are disabled, we are not able to get that information. It has been an unfolding drama ever since, affecting what analysts estimate are 500 million Gmail users worldwide. Google tried, and failed, to redact information about its email scanning process from a transcript of a public court hearing. Last month, the judge in the case ruled that portions of the transcript from that February hearing could not be redacted retroactively, since that would be tantamount to closing a public courtroom. There's a young couple planning to get married in the Spring, there's Molly, 21 ... came back to help her Dad run a B&B on the lake ... I think it sits on the lake but it could be on the shore, there's Pike Mike ... The lake is full of pike and so people catch pike to eat and sell ... must be some other fish there but I only hear talk of pike ... Pike Mike has caught thousands of pike ... so the name, I heard the number 30,000 or something like that in one episode, but it may or not be fact, he's been there awhile so who knows. Many web pages look and read better ... I just added a new User Agent to it a few minutes ago. I have this UA also added to KM v1.6. It is ... Googlebot Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html) It not 100 % but it does cut down on some information being shown ... I'm still looking for something better for just surfing. I have a Firefox 25 UA ID string since it works with my banking and other secure sites. It's funny, when I go to the site that dencorso posted ... if I have JavaScript off then the site does nothing ... it only reads my information with JavaScript on. I usually surf around with JavaScript off unless it's needed for secure sites ... banking, Amazon, eBay and such or sometimes a general web page "demands" that JavaScript be turned on. Interested in more input about having a Googlebot (or other bot crawler) as a UAgent and also keeping JavaScript off as much as possible ! Seems to be the way to go ... no JavaScript unless needed. I also have Proxomitron running most of the time which also changes some ID information ... sometimes I have to put it on "Bypass", but not often ... using the Sidki filter set. It makes the Google Search Page very usable and pleasant to look at ... no ads and a Dark Blue color ... the only way to go into Google Search ... there is also a choice of Dark Gray and Light Blue for the Google page color ... Earlier that morning, the 53-year-old had gotten off his 12-hour overnight shift at the local lime plant, a second job he took awhile back to make ends meet. He napped for a few hours as the sun rose, and then got up to work with his wife, Heidi LaBar, on their chicken farm. It was like any other day. Even though it didn't have to be anymore. Just a few months ago, his house was in foreclosure. His chicken farm had few customers. He worked constantly. Then one day, on the way to work, he stopped at the gas station in town, grabbed the Lotto47 form, penciled in the numbers 14-18-23-28-37-40, and forgot about it. A few days later, word spread around this town of about 3,000 — small by downstate standards, pretty big by Up North ones — that someone way up here in Manistique had hit it big and won the $3.3 million jackpot in the May 21 drawing. LaBar didn't think anything of it. "My brother flagged me over when I was getting out here to do chores and he said, 'Did you know someone in town hit the lottery? … You should check your tickets.'" Next time Jeff was in the house and remembered to look, he glanced at his lottery slip. Instantly, this Up North, home-foreclosed, two-job-working chicken farmer was a millionaire. "I found out it was me and totally I just dropped to my knees," he said. "Literally, I just prayed right there. I'm a born-again Christian, but I still played tickets and stuff, cause everybody needs a break." He collected his winnings. Then he went right back to work. Out of prison Jeff and Heidi live in a house built onto an old barn just off a two-lane rural road. His mom's little house is next door. His brother lives across the street. He's unassuming and polite, looks younger than his age and speaks with a distinct Yooper accent. His demeanor is humble. It's a trait he developed while trying to rebound after years of getting into trouble. He was raised in Manistique, served a few years in the Navy, then came back home and became a drug user, then a drug dealer, then an inmate when he got caught and was sentenced to 10-20 years in prison. He was released after seven. When he got out, few people wanted anything to do with him. "Everybody turned away," he said. "My family — my brother and my mom and my dad — were pretty much the only ones that stood by me and were there for me as much as they could be. But all the people who were all my so-called friends never talked to me." But he was a changed man, he said. He'd become religious. He sobered up. Kept out of trouble. Worked hard. Met Heidi in church and married her. And he started his own chicken farm, something he had wanted since he was a kid, when he watched his mom raise a few birds for the family. He loves his chickens. During good times and bad times, they've been the one reliable constant he's had. "I've always liked chickens," he said. "And I said I'd just like to do that for a living. But up here, we're so far from any populace or anywhere that would buy the needed amount to sustain or to make a living, so it's never really panned out." His luck always seemed bad. He got a job as a lineman for an electric company, then got hit by a truck on the job. When he recovered, the company let him go. He fell behind on his high-interest mortgage and was on the verge of losing his house. Even when his fortunes seemed to be changing, they really weren't. This spring, he'd bought a lottery ticket and misread the results, and thought he'd won a million dollars. He and the store clerk were jumping up and down in excitement. Then they realized he'd won only $100. "I thought I saw a lot more zeros," he admitted. But he kept buying tickets. Two weeks later, everything changed. Too scared to change "At first I was like, 'Oh my goodness, you can quit your job!' cause that's what he really wanted to do,'" said Heidi, 59. "But he's always been a worker, so chances are he'll always be working. I can't see him not having chickens. He just lives and breathes them." Jeff admits he is too scared to change how he lives. "I never had money to invest," he said. "So I don't know anything about that, like I'm totally lost about that. It's just such a big step to trust somebody with investing that money. And then quit your job that you already have and everyone likes you and you're doing halfway decent with that …" The couple opted for the lump-sum payment, which brought their earnings down to $2.1 million. Taxes cut that remainder nearly in half. But it's still a lot of money for a guy who had so little of it for so long. "It was just a relief to know that we have security in retirement now that we never had before," Heidi said. "It's wonderful." They went to the lottery office, taking along their toy poodle Bailey because he's part of the family, too, and smiled as they were given an oversize novelty check. I for one would like to see JorgeA be given recognition status and what ever else goes along with it. I imagine that this is a long process with everything presented before a committee ... I also realize the possibility that some members will no longer be around when the final decision is made. I would vote or sign a form to "fast track" the whole thing. ...

I'm thinking and looking in horror ! ... looks like the car is sitting on the block with no piece of carpet or anything to protect the paint ... must be scratches. No respect for anything in today's world. The real James Bond would never let something like that happen ... it must be a "wannabe" James Bond with a toy gun ! An addition to my last post ... I should have also mentioned "Goldfinger" ... a classic. All those early Bond films with the original characters ... some look outdated maybe, but it was from a different time.

Well, I like the one film where there were bikinis ... OK, come to think of it there were probably bikinis in all the JB films. I liked mostly the earlier ones ... don't care for the last couple of Bond players. I liked "Dr No" and "The Man With the Golden Gun" ... but there are more but those two I can always watch. ...

WARNING: Some of these images might be a little upsetting. We can't confirm what happened exactly, but it doesn't look good for the dog. There is one ray of hope. One image suggests that the dog may merely have been rolling in the dust as the car went by — that scenario happened with a donkey that everyone thought in 2013 had been hit by a Google Street View car.

Found another article with a couple of pictures. That first article could be a little misleading ... it says "still working the same job 73 years later" ... I think "working at the same place or the same employer for 73 years" might be more accurate. His job today seems different from when he first started. "The store said Mr Goldman was first hired to sell stock and clean the displays." "Colleague Sandy Ronco said Mr Goldman now specialises in rebuilding items that were damaged or unusable." I guess it could be just splitting hairs ... maybe he always had the same job and the duties just changed through the years. You hear one of these stories every so often ... years ago there was a TV news story about a man who was 106 and still driving. He was sharp and looked more like 80's, at least to me.
