  4. Hello All, I have a small question. Tried to find it with the search button - but couldn't find it. When you create a batchfile, you can play with the ECHO command to show stuff on the screen. Example: ECHO Installation in progress.. Please Wait.. Does anybody know how I can display such a screen with VBS file so that I launch the Vbs, you get on screen Launching Install.. Checking Disk Space.. Installation in Progress... Please Wait... Installation Done... Press Any Key to continue.. I know you can use wscript.echo but that are message boxes and then the program will wait untill you press ok to go on. Thx in Advance
  5. Ok, here we go.. - Download Resource Hacker on this link - Extract the zip file - Open ResHacker.exe - Go to file - open - Search Powerpnt.exe (probably in C:\Programs files\Msoffice\Office\Powerpnt.exe) - double click the map Icon - 1 and click on 1033 - If that is the icon you want, go to the menu action - Save[icon : 1 : 1033] Have fun
  6. I checked here in Office2000 I found the powerpoint Icon in Powerpoint.exe so in the exe file not in a dll (You can check it with resource hacker --> as you probably know already)
  7. Maybe you can make a Hijacked Logfile and post it here. I 'll take a look at it then You can download Hijacked on this link Don't delete everything in the hijacked log that you find!! because there are always a lot of things that may not be deleted

  11. You can find a memtest at this link http://www.memtest86.com/ Maybe check your eventviewer for strange messages. Further.. disable as much onboard devices(like sound, lan, ..) as possible in the bios en test it to see if you have the same problem.

  13. Hello All, For our company, we are creating a Xp image that will be distributed on our future workstations. It is almost ready, but I can't find 2 things that I want to see removed from the image. 1) In Windows Explorer under the menu Help --> Is this a legal copy of Windows? 2) Under Map Network Drive --> Sign on for online storage link I don't want users to see or click those options. I already checked the registry and a lot of dll's with resource hacker. But it's like seeking a needle in a .. Does anybody know how to remove those 2 options? Thx Weazle
