    :)

This is not a warez site! Links/Requests to warez and/or illegal material (porn, cracks, serials, etc..) will not be tolerated. Discussion of circumventing activation/timebombs will also not be tolerated. If you ignore any of the aforementioned you will receive a final warning. At this link activation was call a bug. Activation is not a bug. Information was given on how to over come the activation bug. See the red text......

Sorry, you cannot leech this file. You must visit the home page here

This is what I get when I click on the link, and then when I go to the home page it takes me back to the link that sends me back to the home page........... :)

  3. Well after going around in circles for 30 minutes I never did get a download of TweakNT. However the only thing I wanted it for was to see if violated the rules for posting. From the chatter on other threads I would have to believe that it does. There for I can only say that it has no place in the "Windows Codename: Longhorn" forum.

I will still try to obtain a copy for evaluation however so I can make a better judgement.........

  4. Start>Settings>Network Connections>Right Click on the NIC connection and go to Properties>Select the General tab. Now at the bottom of the window is a check box for "Show icon in notification area when connected" Check this box.

Now the icon will show in the task bar near the clock. Right click on the icon and the pop up window will give you an option to disable the connection. You can turn it back on the same way..

    I hope this helps..

  5. Well unlike most of the gifted sig makers I have to spend hours making my sigs and avatars so I have to show them off now. I know there are some of the peeps here that can make a new sig in 5 minutes but it takes me 4 to 6 hours most of the time. Because to this I as a rule just can not wait to show them off.....

  6. Start(Right click)>Explore>A:\(Right Click)>Format>Create a MS-Dos start up disk

This boot disk will find the CD ROM and make it active as well as put you in Dos with the A:\...........

  9. To reinforce what b0r3d has given you here are some tutorials on the subject.

    Hard drive upgrade

I would put one hard disk drive as master on IDE 0 and either the CD or the DVD as the slave one this same cable. Use your present HDD on this cable as it has your operating system on it (i.e. the C:\ drive). Now on the second cable I would put the second HDD as the master and the left over optical drive as the slave. My reason for this is that if you are going to copy files from HDD to HDD it is best to have them on different IDE channles IMHO....

After reading this information and you should still have questions please fell free to ask.

Good Luck and let us know how it turns out......

  10. A $3 cure..

After 18 hours of troubleshooting I hope the problem has been found. The mother board

    is an Intel D850EMV2L.

    Symptoms:

    Random reboots

    Boot failure

    Loss of HDD on IDE

    Flash screen freeze on boot

Change settings in BIOS but would not take effect

    Other strange boogers

After total and multiple fresh installs of 2 different O.S. and long stairs at the monitor

screen (complete with hand gestures), resetting the BIOS, etc. I finally got a chance to see

the screen warning that the CMOS battery was low. Well now I have to check this out,

correct? At 11 o’clock at night I ran down to the local drug store (which is open 24\7)

after being up for 16 hours and bought a $3 watch battery. In this case it is a CR2032.

Note: By this time I am looking pretty ragged which drew the attention of the store

manager because he came up and stood by the female check out attendant while I

purchased the battery. I must have looked like I was going to rob the place.

Going home and taking the massive power in my hand (the battery is 3 V, it must be a

dollar a volt) and placing it into it’s new home I started to tremble as I placed my finger

on the “Power on” button. Well as I gazed in amazement the “CMOS batter low” alert

was still in place. However the computer was starting to act in a normal fashion. This

prompted me to do some more troubleshooting which lead me to updating the BIOS of

both the System board and the RAID controller as well as an updated driver for the

Promise TX2000. After doing so things started to take shape and after some tweaking of the

system now appears to be operating in a normal fashion..

    What a day..

    :)
