Does your video card have 2 VGA or DPI outputs? If it does then you may want to just update your drivers. If not look at upgrading your AGP card to one that does. I have 2 monitors on my computer and one of the modes is to show the same desktop on bouth screens.

btw tinker... is there any advantage to having your own cable/dsl modem, because from the area im at here in nc,, the 2 main servers are sprint dsl and road runner high speed cable, and both of these provide dsl/cable boxes already ..
but if theres a advantage in having your own, other then you owning it, id definatly get my own..
What ever you want to do will work. For what you are charged by the ISP you can pay for the modem in less than a year as a rule.

I have 3 of these wireless routers. One is in use and the other 2 are for experimenting. I use DD-WRT on my home system and also have the LINKSYS HGA7T High Gain Antenna Kit for R-TNC Connectors for a little better coverage around the house.

Here is a setup that might work for you. It may cost you a few more bucks but it works well IMHO.

Have you tried changing to another channel? You could be getting interference from another device that is close by.
