Office 2000/XP/2003/2007 Slipstreamer - version 1.7.4
mara- replied to mara-'s topic in Microsoft Office
OK, thanks. Cheers -
It does not need to mean that it's a warez. From what are you saying installation you have is already an admin. You can use tool in my signature to check if it is already a admin and if it is retail. Cheers
-
What error are you getting? Also, if you have retail edition you can not create admin install. In that case you can try with my Office Slipstreamer and use Direct Slipstream. Cheers

Office 2000/XP/2003/2007 Slipstreamer - version 1.6.2
mara- replied to mara-'s topic in Microsoft Office
That's because of administrative install. Download version 1.7 Beta 2 and use Direct Slipstream. It will enable you to have even smaller size then original and it will ask you for serial on begin of install, cache will also work. Cheers -
How's that possible? I remove 234 components on 249 (extreme is active) and I am nowhere near that. winsxs is even removed! Even I remove .NET, my Windows folder would be roughly 3Go. You sure it's x64? He probably thinks on installation disc, not on installed size. Cheers

There is no any bug here. None of these are made to be integrated with nLite. You must create addons. That is addon fault. Also you maybe did not put it in right order for integration. Firefox has to be above Adobe Reader in list for integration. And how do you know that these are not integrated? If Windows Update is showing it, that could be it's fault because it sometimes uses different registry entries for detection. Also, if you are looking it in Add/Remove Programs it won't be there since hotfixes are directly integrated. Cheers

Acheron, I really appreciate your work on Nero Lite, but do you care to fix bugs in it? For me whole Music page in Nero Express is not working. For example if I choose Audio CD and try to add some mp3 file I get message: One or more files could not be added to a compilation. It may be possible, that the files can be added, if a dedicated plug-in is installed. When I try to add mp3 file in "Jukebox Audio CD" Nero just crash without any error messages. I already mentioned this bug here and errors from Event Viewer are there. Same problem exist in Nero Burning ROM. Please fix this. BTW, I'm using your latest release, and this problem existed in previous version too. Cheers
-
On Preset page un-check option Load last season on startup. Restart nLite. Cheers
-
Well, it should be easy to enable it again. Open Display Properties, select Screen Saver tab. Click on Power button, select Hibernate tab and check option "Enable Hibernation". Cheers

Office 2000/XP/2003/2007 Slipstreamer - version 1.6.2
mara- replied to mara-'s topic in Microsoft Office
Thanks man for the translation and for the VB converter you sent me. Cheers -
Sure, why not? PM me with it, we should continue about this in PM, since this is not for your Vista Pack thread. . Cheers
-
Yeah, I know, but it's not the AutoIt problems. Problem is in some VB script which I'm trying to convert in AutoIt code. I done most of the job, but it seems that I cant understand it completely. If you know anything about VB scripting let me know and maybe you can help me. BTW, what happened with Dutch translation you promised ? Cheers
-
I was on vacation. Also, I'm creating something new for Slipstreamer, which is more complicated then I thought. Cheers
-
@ChrisKuhli How do you make this translations. Do you translate it by yourself, or you use text from resources. I really can't understand how do you make errors in translation. You just need to extract the resource and upload it for Damian. He well apply translations to fit the best. Cheers

nLite would got that error, not the system. Cheers

The device, \Device\Harddisk1\D, has a bad block.
mara- replied to mara-'s topic in Hard Drive and Removable Media
Just the update for those with same issue: It was not my old Maxtor disk which caused the bad block problem, even it has problems described above. It was my WDC WD2000KS. But, I was able to fix this issue. I downloaded WD Diagnostics, I run Extended Diagnostic and the tool found the bad sector and "repaired" it (Windows XP did not detected nothing). Since than I did not have single bad block. I done the diagnostic 3 days ago, and my computer is running at least 12 hours per day. I also run diagnostic once more, and no any problems. Anyway, there was one good thing here. Bad block was excuse for me to by new HD, I needed more space . So if anyone have this problem, try to run official diagnostic tool, for your HD to see will it fix the problem. Cheers -
Office 2000/XP/2003/2007 Slipstreamer - version 1.6.2
mara- replied to mara-'s topic in Microsoft Office
OK, I'm glad that you solved the problem. By the explanation you gave, you maybe found a bug. I'll look into it, but I can promise that I'll fix it, since I don't have Retail version and everything depends on testing of the users. Cheers Edit: Can you tell me what path did you use in first and second input field when your files were located on hard drive? -
That's right, it's not the same. Cheers
-
johnhc, no offense but I think you don't have any idea what are you talking about. The guy is asking about Maximum unfinished simultaneous connections[TCP/IP patch] as you already mention, and for your information also known as half open connections. Also, ISP can not affect on this in anyway. I just suspect that 50 is too large This is way normal if you want normal connection. If you download torrents I would put even bigger value. Currently I'm using 16777215 value and I don't have any problems. Now, recently Microsoft released new hotfix, which updates version of file which is patched with new value. Before this hotfix I did not have any problems with nLite, it patched file perfectly. For this new hotfix if it is integrated I can't tell if the patch is working, since I have not tested it yet. Cheers

Hi, Sometimes I search some things over Google, and it show me some results from MSFN forums, but with "lofiversion" in link. I don't want to use "lofiversion" so I click on text "Full Version topic title". Instead of showing me that topic, this page is opened: http://www.msfn.org/board/lofiversion/index.php/showtopic=25374 What is wrong here? Can this be fixed? Cheers

Office 2000/XP/2003/2007 Slipstreamer - version 1.6.2
mara- replied to mara-'s topic in Microsoft Office
Well, if it reports that wrong cd key is entered than the following could happen: - You did not enter the correct key (if you have it on computer use copy-paste) - Enabling admin install failed (even if the program said that it enabled it, in this case try again - by default admin install is not allowed by Microsoft, but tool is removing that limitation) - You or someone else altered setup.ini located in folder FILES\SETUP and because of that program is detecting your Office as Retail/OEM, and maybe is other edition. Are you sure that displayed edition is correct? Cheers -
