XPerties replied to XPerties's topic in Server - Side Help (IIS, Apache, etc.)
Sorry ... that was what I meant ... no tranfer limit you find one that doesnt have a transfer limit, offers what I posted above and is priced at or around what the prices I quoted and Ill be a posting "cripsy is god" thread everywhere. Because you wont. Take a look at host company who supply good tech support and tons of options along with the server backbone, speed and storage. You wont find one. -

are you suggesting I offer that package? Im not sure if you all understand this thread, This is a thread about your thought on the pricing and what is offered, as I am opening a webhosting company. -
hehe.....This is funny considering it was on sale last night till 12 for $24.95. I know because I bought a copy. So its not really worth 130. Sorry to ruin the excitement.

crispy, Its not capped...a bandwith transfer is the amount of transfer size you can have monthly. Almost if not all web hosting companys have it, and these are so high that most dont even know about them. Ehostpros is one to look at...See line 2-Monthly Transfer Rate and the pipe will be as answered above. -

Yes, webspace includes mysql databases. Transfer includes any coming & going of information. If that wasnt the case then you would be having webserver with tons of files being distro all over the place. -

well for one I have had to wait days if not weeks for someone to get back to me about adding domains and chaning or upgrading account. Not to mention they dont responed when there are troubles with the account on there part. Also after looking around I find it funny that they charge a 5 dollar fee for a add-on domain when my current host doesnt charge anything for a add-on domain. There support is the worse. As far as money, when a charge is put on my accoutn VIA CC it puts a hold on the money but wont show up for 2-4 days on my online billing statment, so to say its them I cant 100% but they claim its not, so we will see.

Quote from MaximumPC..... So in other words if the game demands it then its used...meaning games dont support it. BTW meant no insultment in any way.
-
Where are these files being moved and in what manner? Saved to another PC? On disk? Via web space?
-
thats like saying games need to suport a 266mhz fsb for it to make a difference. all agp 8x does is provide a wider road that can handle more traffic. its a pointless feature to upgrade a motherboard for at this time as no cards can really take advantage of the possible memory bandwidth it alows dude, really. Do your homework. It does matter on the game. And there are vid cards that are 8x.
-
Are you able to see these MP3? If not right click my computer/explorer/tools/folder options/view and in the advance settings box do the following... check "show hidden files and folders" uncheck "hide extension for know file types" uncheck "hide protected operating system files" If you can see them have you tried to just rename them to songname.mp3?
-
VID, MB must both support 8x. For the best usage the game must also support 8x. And drew your right, I picked up that copy last night and read the artical your refering to. Funny 4x beat 8x. Also I was impressd on all the benchmarks maximum PC did, I was very surprised at all of them
