simply i got my self a legal copy of xp pro now ok the question i have is now i want to be able to install xp on two of my computer that i have one for test app's out and thing and one for just to use. ok i know wpa collects serial numers or what have you of certein hardware devices on your machine. i know there must be a file on or box that holds this information could i copy that file what ever the name is to the machine that i am trying to install the second copy of xp too or is there a anther way i can do this?

Newbie Question here again ill try to reword it here i have tried to run sp1 on my copy of xp that a friend installed for me and it is not letting me to updated to sp1. i kept receiving error something like i cant read the product code i dont know why? second part of my question is that i just puchased a dell computer with xp pro on it and i havent even turned it on yet and plan on doing so can use the key code on my other computer in stead of using it on my dell? second part here my brother has a upgrade code for his computer for xp he is not planning on using it on his computer could i use that to replace my bad key code would that be ok? thanks i hope this question isnt illegal too thaNKS IN ADVANCED

Newbi,Question here I have a bootleg copy pf xp and yes also one f the blacklisted keycode i was wondering if some how i was to obtain a copy of a key say from a dell computer that has never been actived yet or even lets say a upgrade key from dell that has not been actived could i use one of those key code in replace of my blacklisted one? at work there are 4 xp box that havent even been turned on yet so could i use one of those oem key codes in replace of mine and the upgrade keycode is for a dell computer that hasnt been use? thanks in advanced the newbie xpman28 peace outtttttttttttttttttt
