im under 18, so Accourding to Norton, it will not affect me so much as im still in like a "testing"stage, and when i turn 18, i wll have to pay for a Distrubution licence, which is only about £0.20 Per Install, and charge the Customer for that aswell
No, its my fault, i was in a rush when tying out the Topic, i do applogise, but its basically this..
Customer Buys a Licence off me, which i buy From MS but Customer Buys it for a little bit more (for me to make a Profit) again this is all legal, becuase OEM software can be solt on for as much as the owner wishes aslong as it comes with the Licence and Media.
Then i install all SOftware, that either i have written, or modified, and the Customer must again either own or Buy a Licence for.
Then when its all set up, and ready to go, i will Use Sysprep to seal the Software ready for the End User.
Then image the Hard Drive, and add it to Norton Ghost, to which it will make it bootable, ame then copy over the the Hard Drive
the Customer HAS GOT TO accept the EULA for Microsoft, Norton, and Myself.
Then can coninue,
the customer get the XP Disc, and COA Sticker, along with any other Purchased Software and COAs,
And also the Norton Disc, which i bundle in:)
Hope this is now clear, as i have spent time writing it lol
Thanks Ethan
By the way, may i ask how you are so concered
Thanls

No i havnt got a link sorry, ive contacted Microsoft About it, and its legal, so ive been told, so thy get the Origianl OEM CD, and then use SySPrep to Copy the image with the Software they chose, again with their own License. So they can simply boot the Norton Ghost Image, ans restor the PC back to the way it was when first installed, like you say, the way big firms do, and just for Reference i sell about 10 Licences per week

I've got Volume Licence CD, direct from Microsoft, as i am a Microsoft partner, and then if i require a licence, i contact MS, and they will send me a new key, to which i sell the the Client, for just more than the price i paid for it
Hope this is more Clear,

well what i want to do, is set up a client machine, the way they want it will say office, .Net framework on it etc.
then save the image with Sysprep,
and Ghost the Hard Drive Image. so then i can make the Ghost Image copy over to the hard disk, ready to give to the customer, so when they boot into the CD it loads Ghost and Copies over the Files
Do you get what im saying
and thank you very much for the file

I recently had a customer who wanted a disc that could simply do all three itself, but it was a Corp VLK, IE Not genuine, now i do not like working with these, but it was a close family friend so why not i say tomyself, but of course IE7 and MP11 Require WGA, and they installed, but would not open ..... so i dont know ifthere is a way around that, becuase this would come under a crack or warez if im correct.
But i added IE7 to the RunOnce and then put MP11 in the addon for Nlite.
And they installed fine

Its mainly for OEM use, becuase im a System Builder in my local area, and its easy to make it auto format and then give the client the disc, and get them to buy a licence for it.
Or should i simly install it, as noramal forfigure it, run sysprep,
then Turn the machine off, and User NORTON GHOST to image the drive
but then how would i make it bootable, from a Norton Ghost Image
Thanks lol

Hello, well what i was told to try by one of my colleuges. was the following, bear with me on this one
Install Firefox on my local machine, along with any extensions i might want to use.
Then, locate the folder of the file: C:\Programs Files\Mozila Firefox,
and Create a SFX Archive, and in the properties if the archive, i can add a command to add a Shortcut to the files, where to extract the files setcect the Location to put it, and ive put a registry file on it, to tell windows that it is the Default Browser, and then add the to another command in the SFX.
Hope you can help, becuase in logic this sounds ok, but i would like to know what you like!
