  2. Hi blue, Glad to know that you get back into 7Customizer and yoy're working on the components removal. I want to draw yr attention on my experience with language removal made by RT7 HERE In fact, Windows7 is well installed but I can't install Office 2010, I got error 1907... Font missing Regards
  3. Hello, I've already prepared my unattended win7 with DriverPacks integrated (DP_Audio; DP_Chipste; DP_CardReaders; DP_Graphics_A, B and Mobile; DP_LAN; DP_WLAN; DP_MassStorage). I also added some software to be installed silently. So, Win7 is installed like a charm. On the other hand, the software installation is looking for 2 drivers pcouffin.sys and ezplay.sys. Actually I've the .exe files of these drivers (PCouffinSetup.exe and EzPlay.exe). 1) How do I extract the drivers from the .exe files ? 2) How to install them silently with NO reboot? I'll appreciate any help Regards
  4. No, I can't. He lives far from me, and he is a basic windows user. Internet isn't World Wide Web for connecting people? World Wide Web Sorry, NOT in this case
  5. No, I can't. He lives far from me, and he is a basic windows user.
  6. With rt7lite or with others programs I install ATI full program (I've made an SFX file) with WPI, and all works fine! Hi wazer, You may expand the drivers first then inject. Especially ATI and NVidea DriverPacks concerned. More info http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?pid=33596#p33596 DRVPREP How to use DRVPREP! Program will scan a root directory and search that and all subdirectories for any files ending with an underscore ( _ ). It will expand the file while keeping the underscore character in the filename extension thereby allowing DISM to process the files. FIRST TIME USE: Double-click and program will ask for root directory where drivers are stored. Directory given will be saved to ini file for future reference. SUBSEQUENT USE: Double-click and program will read directory given at first time use. You may delete the INI file (same folder as exe file) to start over again. COMMAND LINE: You may call the exe from another app or batch file using the following format: W7_DRVPREP.EXE "C:\MY FOLDER\MY DRIVER ROOT FOLDER" (must enclose in double quote!!) Trailing backslash is not required. The directory given WILL NOT BE SAVED to ini file. Finally, this program will always run through without user interaction, even if errors are found. All messages and message boxes will appear for 5 seconds and move on. I used yhis method with success On the other hand, I've tested all Win7 integration tools and had a bad experience with RT7Lite. Since while I'm using 7Customizer. Although is the oldest tool, it is the must reliable tool for me.
  7. I ran EnumShell and i got the following Shell window: HWND = 0x00010050 class = "Shell_TrayWnd" title = "" process = explorer.exe class = "TrayNotifyWnd" title = "" HWND = 0x00010058 parent = 0x00010050 class = "TrayClockWClass" title = "3:33 PM" HWND = 0x0001005A parent = 0x00010058 class = "TrayShowDesktopButtonWClass" title = "" HWND = 0x0001005C parent = 0x00010058 class = "SysPager" title = "" HWND = 0x00010068 parent = 0x00010058 class = "ToolbarWindow32" title = "???? ?????? ????? ??-??? ??????" I think this time is because the write is right to left
  8. OOOopppsss you're right.Regarding my conputer, is already 3 languages handling (Eng, Fre and Heb. The above $title i got it with my computer Notepad. I just noticed what i wrote here above "AutoIt stick at line 245" the script is 244 lines. Line 245 is a copy of the hebrew text Anyway, AutoIt doesn't accept any exotic language. I correct that (with Notepad), and relaunch the script this time It stick at Line 165 While 1 Sleep(100) ; Line 165 $QUICKLAUNCH = ControlGetPos("[CLASS:Shell_TrayWnd]", "", "[CLASS:ToolbarWindow32; TEXT:Quick Launch]") If Not @error Then ExitLoop WEnd It could be because I didn't modifed yet the line 155 ($programs) to hebrew Case $Lang = "he-IL" $title = "‏‏סרגל כלים חדש - בחר תיקיה" $programs = "[CLASS:MSTaskListWClass; TEXT:Running applications]" Remind me please how to get that $programs title Regards
  9. Hello wazer and myselfidem, CONGRATULATIONS Tested French and English... works liuke a charm. You've got it. However, I try pushing the test to non europeen languages, and tested Hebrew which is left to right writing. AutoIt stick at line 245 Case $Lang = "he-IL" $title = "‏‏סרגל כלים חדש - בחר תיקיה" got error; Unable to parse line. I opened the script with Notepad i get the above $title in hebrew. Then I edited it with AutoiT, i got Case $Lang = "he-IL" $title = "â€â€×¡×¨×× ×××× ××ש - ××ר ת×ק××" Again Congartulation
  10. Thanks all very much for yr patience and explanation. S Ever since, I use double quote ("...."). When I upgrade from v6 to v8, the commands into config.js were automatically updated sometimes to ('....') and sometimes to both ('"...."') (see my examples above). Moreover, when I add or update any softwares to WPI, I modify manually the config.js. So, I remember that I have had diffculties with the quotes. Regards
  11. Really, No one can explain when do i use 1 quote mark (') and when 2 quote mark ('") into config.js? What a pity
  12. Hello, I'm using WPI 8.1.0 and I'm really happy with. It simply works like a charm However, as i write (update) manualy into the config.js file, I've a question regarding the cmds (command) script. Some cmds are with 1 quote mark (') others with 2 ('"). Why? What the differences are? When it should be 1 quote mark and when 2 here bellow some examples cmds[pn]=['%cdrom%\\Software\\AdvJPEGCompress\\ajpegcompr.exe /VERYSILENT /SP-','"%cdrom%\\Software\\AdvJPEGCompress\\ajc_CR.exe"','{REGEDIT} %cdrom%\\Software\\AdvJPEGCompress\\ajc.reg']; cmds[pn]=['"%cdrom%\\Software\\BatchImageResizer\\batch-image-resizer.exe /VERYSILENT /SP- /NORESTART"','{REGEDIT} %cdrom%\\Software\\BatchImageResizer\\BIR.reg']; cmds[pn]=['"%cdrom%\\Software\\VirtualDJ\\Setup.exe /S"','"%cdrom%\\Software\\VirtualDJ\\virtualdj_CR.exe"','{REGEDIT} %cdrom%\\Software\\VirtualDJ\\VirtualDJ.reg']; I'll appreciate yr explanation Regards
  13. Tested both QuickLaunch_INT.au3 and QuickLaunch.au3 files for both languages English and French : The Quick Launch bar is created, doesn't move to the left even after the Reboot Bon courage
  14. mine too is multi language, here is bellow... As i wrote above, just the essential. Opt('TrayIconDebug', 1) sleep(10) ;Adding Reg Entries. 15. Tested works, the Quick Launch bar is created and move to the left You can also just point the LangBar and drag it to the toolbar.Anyway, i still use mine, much lighter (purged from any unused code) and just do the main job (creating a QuickLaunch toolbar without moving it to the left). Regards
  16. OK myselfidem, Tested both QuickLaunch.au3 and QuickLaunch_INT.au3 English: The Quick Launch bar is created, doesn't move to the left French: The Quick Launch bar is created , doesn't move to the left It certainly not move to the left because my LangBar is set. Anyway, i still use mine unless I update the registry Regards
  18. @myselfidem I tested yr New QL.zip. English: The Quick Launch bar is created, doesn't move to the left French: freeze in line 60 Sleep(100) Again, Again and Again I'm using Windows 7 English with added LangPacks therefore $Lang = RegRead("HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "MachinePreferredUILanguages") it's allways en-US. Never change. It is not MultiLanguage depend, it is base language depend. Therefore you may check 2 registry. "MachinePreferredUILanguages" and "PreferredUILanguages" I modified yr script from ;$Lang = RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\MuiCached", "MachinePreferredUILanguages") $Lang = RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\MuiCached", "MachinePreferredUILanguages") $text = "[CLASS:ToolbarWindow32; TEXT:Quick Launch]" $path = "%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\" $toolbartext = "{DOWN}{DOWN}{DOWN}{ENTER}" $toolbartitle = "{DOWN}{DOWN}{DOWN}{DOWN}{ENTER}" to $Lang = RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop", "PreferredUILanguages") If @error = 0 Then ; registry ValueName exist Else ; registry ValueName NOT exist $Lang = RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\MuiCached", "MachinePreferredUILanguages") EndIf $text = "[CLASS:ToolbarWindow32; TEXT:Quick Launch]" $path = "%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\" $toolbartext = "{DOWN}{DOWN}{DOWN}{ENTER}" $toolbartitle = "{DOWN}{DOWN}{DOWN}{DOWN}{ENTER}" English: The Quick Launch bar is created, doesn't move to the left French: The Quick Launch bar is created (one not twice... you're progressing) , doesn't move to the left Why you do NOT check it yourself? Regards
  19. Right now YES English: The Quick Launch bar is created, doesn't move to the left French: freeze in line 86 WinWaitActive($title) Again I'm using Windows 7 English with added LangPacks therefore $Lang = RegRead("HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "MachinePreferredUILanguages") it's allways en-US. 20. Just click on my here bellow signature and you'll be directed on a post speaking about Quick Launch and Lancement rapide "en-US"So, I tested an unattended install MultiLangue Windows 7 in the language base (English), "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "PreferredUILanguages") is NOT there. Test it and you'll see. You can test it too. ANYWAY if you install an unattended single language "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "PreferredUILanguages" will be missed too Therefore, the improve will be $Lang = RegRead("HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "PreferredUILanguages") If @error = 0 Then ; registry ValueName exist Else ; registry ValueName NOT exist $Lang = RegRead("HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "MachinePreferredUILanguages") EndIf So, it's yr script and it up to you to moify it or not, I just gave you the info. Regards
  21. Hello myselfidem , For myself I do NOT use Lancement rapide. All the more so, as i wrote above, I'm using Windows 7 English with added LangPacks.Regarding HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International", "LocaleName"I forgot that it different country depend. However, the problem still there if you unattended install a single language or a MultiLangue Windows 7 in the language base, "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "PreferredUILanguages") is NOT there. Test it and you'll see. Therefore, the improve will be $Lang = RegRead("HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "PreferredUILanguages") If @error = 0 Then ; registry ValueName exist Else ; registry ValueName NOT exist $Lang = RegRead("HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "MachinePreferredUILanguages") EndIf Regards
  22. Hi all, I'm using Windows 7 English with added LangPacks, one of them is French. Until now, I tested the QuckLaunch script during Windows 7 French unattended installation. Recently I tested the QuckLaunch script with Windows 7 English unattended installation and was surprised to get the following error AutoIt Error QuickLaunch AutoIt Error in line xx variable used without being declaredIt behave like a Single Windows Language. After inverstigation, I find that although the Windows 7 is MultiLangual integrated, If I install the base Language (English in my case), the registry ValueName ("HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "PreferredUILanguages") is simply NOT Exist. Then, I was looking on how to check that registry ValueName if exist. And if NOT exist, swap to another without making the script heavier. First, Instead of reading the Registry vlaueData of RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International", "sLanguage") = ENU or FRA... We may read RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International", "LocaleName") = en,US or fr-FR ... Therefore, the script improve will be $Lang = RegRead("HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop", "PreferredUILanguages") If @error = 0 Then ; registry ValueName exist Else ; registry ValueName NOT exist $Lang = RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International", "LocaleName") EndIfthat's it and we can suppress all the unused lines ; $Lang = RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International", "sLanguage") ; Case $Lang = "FRA";French ; Case $Lang = "ENU"; English ;... Enjoy
  23. Hello myselfidem, I noticed in yr post as well as in your file that the bellow 2 variables are a llways a same (Quick Launch) for all languages $path = "%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\". $text = "[CLASS:ToolbarWindow32; TEXT:Quick Launch]" On the other hand, in my here above post and file , thes 2 variables are specific for each language. French $path = "%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Lancement rapide\" $text = "[CLASS:ToolbarWindow32; TEXT:Lancement rapide]" English $path = "%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\" $text = "[CLASS:ToolbarWindow32; TEXT:Quick Launch]" Moreover, pay attenntion of the recommandation in my here above post and file 1) You may copy all yr Quick Launch shortcuts to Windows7 DVD for Windows English to %CDROM%\sources\$OEM$\$Docs\Default User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch for Windows French to %CDROM%\sources\$OEM$\$Docs\Default User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Lancement rapideTherefore during the Windows 7 installation they will be copied to C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch or \Lancement rapide So, I f yr $path and $text were "Quick Launch" and you used my Lancement rapide it can't be successful. Here bellow the files (purged from any unused code), where QuickLaunch_EN-FR_(QL).au3 file is $path and $text are "Quick Launch" QuickLaunch_EN-FR_(QL-INT).au3 file is $path and $text are specific for each language. QuickLaunch_EN-FR(QL+QL-INT).zip Regards
