Adobe Flash Player 9.0.280.0 released. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ -
Although Geforce 6 and 7 have shader model 3.0 support, most games using HDR only support Windows 2000 and above. When I play Phantasy Star Universe with X850XT on Windows 2000, I can enable AA by renaming the program's name to bioshock.exe. But GeForce 7 can't use AA because the game will force antialiasing off, and only GeForce 8 and above can bypass the limitation by using nHancer. Besides, X8xx cards support component video output up to 1080i, and 6800 cards only support S-Video out.

Without KernelEX, LnkIconShim is not applicable to 98.

You can install Flash Player 9, but use NPSWF32.dll from 10.1. I can't get 10.1.53.64 to install due to an invalid page fault in kernel32.dll. But latest NPSWF32.dll works without problem.

My version is 2.40.4518. Besides, I also tried 2.40.4532 from Windows 2000. If I disable KernelEX, error messages appear when I use WMP9, IE6 and explorer.exe.

K-Meleon 1.5.4 is based on Gecko 1.8.1.24pre. Just like other Gecko 1.8.1.xx based browsers, they are good but outdated.

The latest updates for Win98se are old NDP20-KB917283-X86.exe and NDP20-KB922770-X86.exe. But most patches for Microsoft .Net framework 1.1 sp1 can be installed in Win98se.

You don't need to set compatibility for Opera 10.60. Did you tried Firefox 2 or 3?

I've tested again and VirtualDUB crashes when those plugins exist. Besides, if you enable KernelEX, VirtualDUB starts with Ffvdub.vdf and MP4InputDriver.vdplugin, but not Vdubauo.vdf.
-
I can start VirtualDUB 1.9.9 or 1.8.1 without problem. When I installed KernelEX, I didn't apply KernelEX to every program.

Lunascape web browser 6.1.3 portable works with KernelEX 4.5 beta 2. Gecko rendering engine can't show web pages properly at XP mode, so I use 2000 mode instead. Trident rendering engine works as IE without major problem. WebKit rendering engine fails to show East Asian characters, and error messages about RPCRT4.dll and MSVCR80.dll appear when I close browser. http://www.lunascape.tv/
