Sadly the driver installer does not work .. it reads that computer does not present the minimum OS requirement I tested also unpacking the drivers and installing via .inf files.. but it was not succeeded

I hope that someone will help with this driver.. I really hate using a slow OS in a new machine. Its funny but my crappy netbooks running xp are more snappy than 7 and upper OSes. Dybya... Hi guys! Here a die hard XP user!! Recently I got a laptop with a Celeron N2830. I have tried many sata drivers to avoid the BSOD 0x0000007D error when installing.. but I wasn´s succeed. 1) Anyone was lucky installing XP on these Celeron NXXXX machines? Which drivers are you using to enable the installation without the BSOD? 2) There are any Intel HD graphics driver available for XP? I see that only 7 and up are available from Intel.. but I wonder about tweaked/unofficial ones. Currently I´ve been forced to install win7 and it is really a pain and slow compared with the smoothness of XP

I would love to have these features in my XP machines!!! 3GB patch and DX11 working. I know that you are under a slow connection right now.. but I hope that you could upload these patches in the future. With each of these additions XP with last and live longer!

I continue using XP in all my machines and they are flying already in comparison to 7/8/8.1 Also waiting for it!!! my goal is to get the maximum performance from machines Lat one, Im the one who tries.. and I dont say "thats imposible... upgrade to 7/8" Do you have any post with the working procedure to enable DX11 on XP? I really will want to try and check if there are increase of performance in DX apps (currently using DX9c) Cheers

I bet that its a problem like that. Maybe XPsp1 dont give me all the full speed of my USB2.0 ports. Im checking USB ports have a 10% reserved bandwidth.. maybe very few? I can tweak and raise this value? The machine is a Intel Quad core from 2008.. using a motherboard with Intel chipset

Hi guys! I ask here because I know that there are many people using 2K and old XP versions here. Maybe someone is aware of this problem and know a way to fit it. Some AVi files freeze any video app when they are loaded from USBstick/USB-HD and also from DVD as Im reading here: http://club.myce.com...iaplayer-67943/ Same AVI files when they are being read from the system HD works perfectly. Any clue to solve this problem? My external HDs and USB sticks are OK.. I verified that AVI files working OK in XPsp2 and upper.. I tested with NTFS and FAT32, same problem with small AVIs or bigger ones. Nothing happen with other video formats like wmv/mp4/mkv/mov/mpg... Players and apps tested: MplayerHC, potplayer, WMP. Exist any hotfix for windows2000 or XPsp1 to solve this?

Its not the hardware... the crap is windows 7 and the "security". Audio is downgraded to avoid be copied. You will do right if you delete this OS from your machine and go back to XP or use other OSes

If I open any folder.. and I write "www." or http.// in the address bar.. this folder converts instantly into a Iexplorer 6 window!!!!!! I always used Nlite releases without the Iexplorer/outlook/WMP and I though that IE was removed totally from my XP There is a way to remove it totally? Some dlls that I can unregister to make the folders system more light? Maybe a way to downgrade this folder-to-iexplore6 feature and use iexplorer5 or lower? maybe replacing files from 2000 into XP? (Im trying to speed up the windows GUI when browsing folders)

so what is the solution? I bet that servers admins know a lot about these problems. Use alternative file commanders instead the m$ crap? go to dos/linux/osx? What Pro users/corporations do to handle this problem? All windows releases suffer of this problem? I tried 2003 and its present too. What about these new 7/2008 OSs? For me they are just consumers OSes with tons of stupid visuals and huge in resources....

The thing that I really hate from M$ is that there is not info about why the delay when accessing to a huge folder. When I use: - farmanager: http://www.farmanager.com/ At least a file counter appear.. showing what amount of files are being read before display them Something like that when accessing windows folders would be nice. Probably all is related to these stupid DLLs that m$ add, like shdocvw.dll, and rest of sh*.dll, zipfldr.dll etc.... Im tempted to install win2000 and check if there is no delay as XP and beyond... The Explorer integrates less of these "fantastic features" that we really dont need and are only slowdowners

@jaclaz thanks for the help. I tried with the info in your links but the problem is present yet. Seem that its a problem of XP architecture. As I was reading in other places Explorer enumerates all files to count total size and to display a progress bar. I also think that explorer read properties of each file.. not only names... so imagine the delay with a folder with tons on files. Its a pity that win98 and win2000 were faster displaying these big folders than newer OSs..

I use XP,SP2, folders using always list view (no thumbs or other crap) and when I need to browse a folder with tons of files.. (>10.000 pics for example) with XP windows/explorer.. I have to wait long time.. same waiting when I select 10.000 files and I press copy/cut/paste... I have noticed that using Norton commander like apps the waiting time is really smaller, also if I have accessed to one of these big folders recently and I return to the folder, the access is done instantly (some cache somewhere?) There is any registry hack of fix for XP to get same speed when browsing/editing these big folders with the XP explorer as the other Commanders? (PLZ.- Im not a newbie so don't reply about use antivirus/malware removal. I know that this is a "Feature" of XP.. the delay is cause XP reads some extra data on each file when accessing, and I want to get rid that process. Just display the files and names)

oh thanks for the post.. these tweaks are useful for detail view... Using the list view to display only filenames is faster. Anyway windows continue reading the files... maybe for prepare the time estimation if you select all of them and do right click or press shift+del. The command lines options are useful here: rmdir /s /q folder Removing that stupid "read of files for time estimation" for the copy/move/del animations boxes would be better for increase system performance when doing these tasks

The coder of Far Manager (Norton Commander like app) gave me the explanation: "Explorer enumerates all files to count total size and to display a progress bar. Far by default deletes without a progress bar. If you change this option - far also will slow down." There is a way to disable progressions bars in windows and the previous count size?

oh.. I dont have any program installed but audio/video drivers.. no antivirus, no internet, nothing! (its a dedicated machine for encode video, and these apps are portable) I notice that explorer.exe increases cpu usage when "reading" the folder I bet that is a problem of explorer.exe..

Everyone know the problem. Open a folder with for example >10.000 files and there is a waiting time until windows show them. Much worse... select now these files and press Shift+del.. and there will be a tedious waiting.. maybe minutes until the process start. If I use programs like Norton comander... for XP .. these ones that uses a MS-DOS like gui to display files.. (like this http://relaxander.webest.net/fn/ the folders open instantly.. the deletetion process is also instantly... Why? There a way to solve this bug or feature of windows? a registry edit? I use list view when I browse folders.. .. could be possible that the creation of >10.000 tiny icons would cause the delay? Maybe getting rid of these icons the process would speed up?

Meanwhile I go to search a PE bootable enviroment with WMI support... If anyone know one with the WMI let me know.. so not necessary to the coder to change the program if its working ok

hi!! Its possible create a version of the program without the WMI requirement? or a way to skip WMI requirement? Every OS that I have installed is stripped .. and I tried with all my bootable windowsPE CDs and everyone have WMI removed I tested your program in a friend´s computer (with a bloated full XP install).. and the USB created works pretty nice!!!
