I hv written a email to 7zip.org to ask them, how i can extract the 7zip.sfx.exe to a temp directory, and launch a command similar to that of Winrar. Silent Extract to a temp directory (of my choosing) Run command like setup.exe /S or like the command we use for Nero Reloaded with the serial already included. this image shows that it can be done. but what is the command.

Ok I know that some of the mods might think this should be moved to the software forum. But i think this topic should remain in the Unattended section. Why? Bec. recently I found out that I could compress my drivers from 340 MB to 54 MB. And Microsoft Office from 564mb is 254md (thanks Sixpack for the tip) I personally dont understand the commands to be used. I just cut and paste what i read in the post. But i would really like to understand them. I want to ask some of the senior members that use 7zip to write some tips and tricks on how to use the SFX function of 7zip.

simon i hv default profile extract to %allusersprofile%\start menu\programs\ mozilla Firefox i dont think we need the admin profile shortcut

simon, i dont know what is happening with adobe acrobat w/ firefox. the only solution i found so far is to uninstall adobe acrobat 7 and reinstall for the plugin to work. simon, can u tell me how i can edit your firefox.exe so i can remove the adobe acrobat plugin. it doesn't work with adobe acrobat 7 i think u used adobe acrobat 6 plugin Solution Found the adobe plugin that u hv w/ your silent installer is from may 2003 which is not compatible with the adobe acrobat 7 version. the solution is to update the nppdf32.dll file i remove the old nppdf32.dll and update it to the latest adobe acrobat 7 nppdf32.dll

First of all, It takes me less than 3 mins to update my profile.exe and the method i am using is NOT only for XPI, but for Themes, Settings, Configuration, Bookmarks, Plugins, Custom visual settings, passwords, and etc. and personally crahaks method never worked for me.

I tried regsnap, i tried manual editing the visual settings registry nothing is working Can someone pt me to the location of the topic. Cuz i hv searched and not found the solution for this

i have a question bare with me using the DetachedProgram="%systemdrive%\DP.exe" Arguments="-y /q /r:n" method is fine but Bashrat has a Drivers Folder with the Mass Storage Devices

Simon I can't enter anything in the yellow highlight I am hving problems viewing pdf on the firefox. It says i hv to download the pdf file first.
