    MemTest

Hi, I decided to test my memory with MemTest. I burned the bootable CD, restarted & started the test. When I realized it will take several hours, I decided to stop & redo the test at night. When I woke-up this morning, Vista was logged on. Does it mean the test finished? Failed? Is there a log anywhere?

Thanks, should this lead me to some sort of resolution? (I'm not sure I know what to do with it now)

Now I could search Google for this error, to find many things regarding the verifier tool, but all this is for XP and below. is this relevant for me?

    Sudden BSOD

    I just got a BSOD out of no where, saying: Technical Information: *** STOP: 0x000000C1 (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x82461881)

Has anyone got a solution for this?
  22. Not quite, I did this before posting, just forgot to mention. I use no speakers (it's a Notebook with internals), I did Shut down, & I receive a pop-up msg, saying I just plugged-in a device to one of the jacks (which I obviously didn't)...
  23. Hi, I've update to the latest Realtek HD Audio Driver R1.79 (by removing older version first). Now I have the Green Jack disabled, so whenever I try to use my headphone, I still hear from main speakers (see attach): any way to enable it back? (it was OK with R1.78)
