  1. How about Windows 2000 SP4?Looking in device manager Win 2k is using generic IDE drivers. There's also two devices (PCI Device & PCI Memory Controller) which are unidentified because I didn't use the nForce drivers. I haven't noticed any problems as yet though, and things look more stable. Well, it's not necessary to recognize them with their exact name, but from what I know for other SATA controllers Windows doesn't start if a driver is not used during Windows install.
  2. RC or beta it's almost the same thing to me. I know what a RC is and right now it's not there (meaning final). This RC version will not be released as final. There are still bugs in this release, as you can see in Microsoft's Connect page. As you can see on their site somewhere, currently there is no beta testing ending date.
  3. How that I always get classic that image error (something with mounting or used by another process or something like that) after trying to apply changes to Vista's installation kit? I mean, it's always giving me that error and I can't see how the kit size is reduced. It's the same as before I "applied" the changes . x64 Windows Server 2003 used here.
  4. Check www.laptopvideo2go.com for a tweaked version that supports custom resolutions.
  5. Windows XP, 2003 both x86 and x64 support (SP2 for x86) INTEL and nVidia SATA chipsets so you don't have to install SATA drivers if you have a INTEL or nVidia SATA controller. Good luck!
  6. But why not still update it? SP2 will be released probably in a month or two.
  7. It works here. Extract this rar, then drag and drop the Zune msi file over it. MSI_fixer.rar
  8. Still a beta. It will take some time before it's released. On Connect there is no end date set for beta testing.
