yeah, sory for late answer We will use either phpBB2 or Invision board Problem is, i need first convert vb to phpbb2, after that phpbb2 to Invision board. With phpBB2 everything works well, but when i convert to Invision i miss 1 forum (Funny Farm) and have some problems with avatars and IBF code. Invision board is in Beta 2 stadium. IB is writen in PHP from scratch and right now fastest board on the net. Ikonboard is writen in Perl. You can see phpBB2 in action here

Well, it will be Invision Board writen in PHP. Ikonboard is writen in perl and takes alot resources on server. Invision is now fastest board on the net and features rich despite it's beta 2. You can check it out on my testing site. http://62.242.118.21/forums/ Remember, it's beta 2 and converting from vbulletin --> IBF still need some work. The bigest problem will be Avatars and Signatures. Members will need to update their signatures. You can help me by testing and with some feedback about bugs. I know some programs for cracking passwords (ftp, pop3, nt servers or whatever) with bruteforce, but for vB Admin CP, that sounds unknown. I don't need any examples, but thx anyway I use linux since 1996, Slackware was the first. Today i use Red Hat on one computer, Windows XP on another and Guardian Digital Linux as a server. You are right about learning but some people simple have not time for that. Sure console is more powerfool and faster, look at this example: when you need to chmod many files, instead to do that on every single file, you can do this: find . -type f -exec chmod 644 {} ; and that will chmoded every single file in that directory at once that is what i call power
