My laptop doesn't boot

Nothing at all happens when I press the power button except it shows the hazard light every time I either connect it to power, or insert the battery then push the power button, it just shows the hazard light for about 5 seconds, then it dissappears. Apart from the first time the power buttons pushed after its got power (battery or ac) nothing happens, any ideas? I'm thinking maybe this is an error code-type thing?

Nope. Its been okay in temps recently..

keep the power button pressed a little while longer. i came across a laptop that wouldn't power up elseway. hope this helps. if not, i'd say there is a fault in the power compartment of the laptop which needs you to go back for warranty.

Remove the large internal battery.

Plug in the AC to DC power supply.

Try booting up again.

Let us know what's happening.
