Specs leak for Microsoft’s new Android phone
Yes, Microsoft really is perfectly happy to keep releasing Android phones. UnwiredViewhas stumbled across some leaked specifications found on the Antutu benchmarking site that show a new Android-based Nokia device that features a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 4 GB of storage.
These are not exactly killer specs in this day and age but they aren’t meant to be: The original Nokia X was designed as a budget smartphone that featured a dial-core 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4-inch WVGA display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB storage, microSD support, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1,500 mAh battery and dual-SIM card support.
In other words, the so-called “Nokia X2″ is basically the same specs-wise as the first Nokia X but it has a slightly faster processor, more RAM and a slightly larger display.
