Since AVAST last DB update (v4.7 db 750 ), i am warned that de .exe nlite 1.4 beta is a virus !

Wooot! You've blown our cover. :o Of course it's a virus. It will delete files off your hard disk and many programs won't work. :)

a few people have reported that, just a false positive from avast, they'll probably clear it up in a few updates :)

exactly. Nlite was the least know widespread virus. Now that Avast detects us, we will have to go back in hiding and develop a new version of this virus so powerfull it can remove components from the core of windows!! Imagine, you could end up with a 700MB xp install, without windows live messenger and any games!!!

I presume that's only for the selfextracting version. If Rarsoft (Winrar) had a nickel for every false report it got they would have a bunch of nickels.

But this sure gives ideas...too bad I'm a good boy...or am I? :sneaky:
