I am just wondering, is the same key for the 32 Bit version also working for the 64 Bit version of Windows XP Professional ?


No, I doubt ... Windows XP x64 is more like Server 2003 ...

In XP, no, keys are not interchangeable - x86 keys are for x86 only, and x64 keys are for x64 only. Note that in Vista, for retail versions of x86 and x64, one key can be used for both (once you choose which, however, it becomes an x86 or x64 key, respectively).

Ok, thanks .. I wanted to create a slipstreamed unattended CD with both versions and forgot the 64Bit key at work .. Alright then, needs to wait until Monday then :) :)
