johndoe74 Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 (edited) Lavasoft Ad-aware 2007 Free v7.0.2.7 [Rel: 04.03.2008]After extensive in-house testing and thanks to a three-month beta testing process with over 335,000 registered testers worldwide, Ad-Aware 2007 has arrived! (Take a look at Tom Spring's PC World article "Lavasoft's Updated Spyware Zapper: Ad-Aware 2007.")Many of you have asked about the prices of our new products. We are still offering the same low prices for the all-new fully redesigned Ad-Aware 2007 Plus and Pro versions. In keeping with the Lavasoft tradition and spirit, Ad-Aware 2007 Free is full powered anti-spyware that is safe, thorough, easy to use and free of charge!Another common question we have been receiving is regarding Vista compatibility; while Ad-Aware 2007 is not currently Vista compatible, a Vista compatible version (32-bit) will be released at the end of August, and all Ad-Aware users with a valid license will immediately receive the Vista compatible version update upon release.Remember, if you have a valid license for an Ad-Aware SE product, you are eligible to update to the Ad-Aware 2007 version completely free of charge. Customers with an existing Ad-Aware SE license will be able to update their software through the Lavasoft Support Center shortly after the release, beginning June 18th. We apologize for this delay, which is due to a glitch in the license system.Visit the Product Comparison Chart to find the Lavasoft product that is right for you!Website and What's new in this versionversion :: 7.0.2.7File size :: 13.03 MB (13,659,348 bytes)MD5 :: 157C2C974D43C5B967ACBF7E78ABBC5CMain :: MediaFireMirror :: FileFactoryMirror :: BadongoMirror :: UploadingMirror :: DivShare Edited April 3, 2008 by johndoe74

erpdude8 Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 (edited) updated to v7.0.2.1I believe Ad-Aware 2007 version 7.0.2.1 is the first version to be fully Vista compatible. The Majorgeeks site says so.I'll have to test this version on my mom's Vista Home Basic laptop today and find out. Before I had to use Ad-Aware SE 1.06r1 under Vista since previous releases of Ad-Aware 2007 did not work under Windows Vista.all right. Lavasoft has now confirmed Vista compatibility with v7.0.2.1 of the Ad-Aware 2007 software here:http://www.lavasoft.com/company/blog/?p=257 Edited August 29, 2007 by erpdude8

gauntlet123 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 i'm getting this error when i try to run ad-awarenever had this issue with 7.0.2.6. it seems to be a common problem when in safe made, but i'm not in safe mode. only solutions i've found is to make sure aawservice.exe is running (it is) and to disable DEP, which didn't help. anybody else have this issue?only thing i've really changed in my install since using the previous version is integrating kels runtimes and integrating driverpacks before making the iso. i think i'll revert back to a previous session that worked with the old ad-aware and see if it works with the new one.
