james2k Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 I get an "Undefined Error" after installing Microsoft Office Service Pack2. Icant see anything wrong with the scripts. It says something about Line 456?Many Thanks James
zorphnog Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Can you provide some more detail? Screen capture of the error, the installation script, etc. We need more to go on than just "Error: line 456".
james2k Posted June 6, 2007 Author Posted June 6, 2007 Just doing a virtual install to get screenshots. The error only happens with Office 2003 SP2 nothing else.the line error in debug points to this symbol }but looks fine in the script.config.jsinstaller.js
zorphnog Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 (edited) Well I think the problem might be with your installations returning 3010 instead of 0, but I'm not sure I'll have to investigate a little further. Is there any reason you're not slipstreaming your updates into the Office install? It would be much easier and less time consuming than installing them individually.edit: Have you tried installing it manually with the same folder structure and filenames? zorphnog Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Actually, I forgot you had to have a volume license to do it, but if you do its fairly simple.Office 2003 Slipstreaming
reini380 Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Hi,I had this problem too. Error in line 456 in installer.hta.Do you integrate your WinXP Updates with nLite? Because the KB931768 (Update for Internet Explorer) is the problem...After several tests i found it out and now I will install this update at the end of the installation, no more problem.Maybe it can help you.Greetingsreini.m
MaxDELETE Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Hello, at me the same error at installation Office 2007 (with integrated SP1 though and without it the same was). WPI v6 gave out an error "Undefined", after pressing of button OK the script continued work, v6.3 is closed there and then. You can help me??? What it is necessary to make, that the error did not stand out???
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Did you use the office fix posted in the sticky section???
MaxDELETE Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Excuse, I badly understand in English (wash the translator badly more precisely translates your phrase)The error occurs at last stage (just when it is established SP1 which is placed in folder Updates in the distribution kit).I simply wished to learn - whether it is possible to make, that WPI did not take off for an installation time of this package.
