ceez Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 zup peeps,So i've done this before and had no probs. I am trying to slipstream sp1 (NOT sp1a) into a I386 folder. I extract the sp into folder SP1 and then type the following in cmd:c:\sp1\update\update /s:c:/I386It waits for about 3 seconds and then I get the following:Failed to copy some or all of the files necessary for integrated install......what am I doing wrong????thkz
Datalore Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 should beC:\SP1\Update\Update.exe -S:C:\XP-SS\(Note, not into I386 folder)
b0r3d Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Also note that switches are forward slash's /, and directory paths use backslashes \

issachar Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 Thanks for the instructions. I've tried the page with the pictures and I'm getting another error.Failed to copy some or all of the files necessary for integrated install. Please check that:a) No network or copy errors occurred during the integration process The format of the destination directory is correct.I've checked both those things and I've tried it on different boxes. Any suggestions?
