Is KB838079 (XP SP2 Support Tools) supported?

try putting it in hfsvcpack_sw2. i'm sure it'll work

I'll discuss with TommyP if this will be supported or not. I think it's OK because it's part of the installation CD.

If you want to slipstream it now, follow these steps:

1) create a subfolder named "_EXTERNAL" in your HFSLIP working folder and place KB838079 in there

2) download HFSLIP_PRE_KB838079.zip and extract it into HFTOOLS

With that done, run HFSLIP like normal.

won't it work via hfsvcpack_sw2 ? i downloaded it and it takes the /q:a /r:n switches

Nope, tried it, and comes up with an install screen.
