The redistributable link at http://mirrors.edskes.com appears to be broken now, so this could be the new release. It just seems so confusing though, what if it's something for the SDK only? Aaron Posted October 17, 2003 Share Posted October 17, 2003 Yup, this is what people download when they want to install the DirectX end-user runtimes to more than one different Windows OS.By the way, DaveXP has uploaded the OPK versions of DirectX 9.0b, along with WMP9 and MovieMaker2. These are smaller, doesn't require a switch, and can be installed from svcpack.inf:DX9NTopk.acemm2.aceSo grab em while you can (thanks Dave!)edit: WMP9 link seems to be down. rstryker Posted October 19, 2003 Share Posted October 19, 2003 OK problem...I tried intalling WMP9 without a switch and it poped up and asked me to accept install.I tried again useing the /Q switch and it fixed that but I got a popup saying system restore was disabled did I realy want to install.Any help would be appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
