Biggest update i have seen, 35mb, blimey, from what i can gather this is the whole package, but as you said it is not very clear, hopefully one of the admins will be able to clear this up for us.

its big because it supports all these operating systems

TabletPC, Windows 2000, Windows 2000 Service Pack 2, Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP

plus multilanguage support

see the unattended guide to slim it down just for xp

you need this for your unattended cd

unless theres a winxp english only distribution i havent seen

Yup, this is what people download when they want to install the DirectX end-user runtimes to more than one different Windows OS.

By the way, DaveXP has uploaded the OPK versions of DirectX 9.0b, along with WMP9 and MovieMaker2. These are smaller, doesn't require a switch, and can be installed from svcpack.inf:

DX9NTopk.ace

mm2.ace

So grab em while you can (thanks Dave!)

edit: WMP9 link seems to be down. Extract with WinRAR or WinACE.

Hi DaveXP,

Still getting 404 errors on both files.

cheers,

dare2001

me too

Thanks Dave and greenmachine, been looking for these too :)

OK problem...

I tried intalling WMP9 without a switch and it poped up and asked me to accept install.

I tried again useing the /Q switch and it fixed that but I got a popup saying system restore was disabled did I realy want to install.

Any help would be appreciated

Did you get this resolved yet? I'm in the processess of building my CD and wanted to use this in SVCPACK.INF instead of command lines.
