grzesiek Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 During Windows loading between bootscreen and logon screen there is showing for nearly second a blue screen. I have changed my bootscreen and logon background to black so i would have this screen also black, is there any way to do this? I tryed to change in this key HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Colors value Background to 0 0 0 but the screen is still blue.
Ponch Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 You can try to add " /nogui " as option in the lines of your boot.ini, then you'll have nothing att all.
grzesiek Posted April 24, 2007 Author Posted April 24, 2007 I added this but nothing changed, I guess this could enable classic logon style but I would like to don't change to classsic style only change this blue color to black.
Tripredacus Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 That registry key you mentioned affects the Desktop background (what you see if your wallpaper isn't stretched/tiled/there. Isn't this blue screen just the logon screen without any gui on it? I believe it isnt a solid color, it has a gradient right?
grzesiek Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 (edited) The blue screen is just before when the background is changed to the logon background, I don't see any gradient, only one color. I think this color is set somewhere in logon because when I change to classic logon style I don't have this blue screen. Edited April 26, 2007 by grzesiek
