How to make norton's 2006 (big-taskbar button) green without delay on startup?

I mean: disable norton 2006 quick scan for startup programs on every restart.

I: did full system scan + got the latest virus definition + windows updates (automatically)

please help, i don't want to switch to norton 2003.

Before it begins I will have to say KEEP the Norton bashing down! Just help the poor gentleman.

Not many people around these parts like Nortons products but someone still may be able to help you.

There's likely a setting for it in Norton's hard-to-navigate options to disable that.

Or use AutoRuns or Strun.exe to disable/delete any unwanted start-up entries.

Also, this tool is a godsend.
