rut Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 What kind of cable I need to buy to watch in my TV what I'm doing on my laptop
ripken204 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 depends on the laptop. you should have an s-video out port on your laptop. so you will need an s-video cable for that. now my tv doesnt have an s-video in so i bought an s-video to rca adapter which allowed me to connect to my tv.
nmX.Memnoch Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 If it's an LCD TV you can probably just use a regular VGA cable. Some plasma TVs have that option as well. I'm not sure about DLP but I would think they might too.
bonestonne Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 look around for S-Video to RCA cables, those are most common, and your laptop should have an S-Video out. if not, there may be a VGA to RCA cable, although no bets, i've never seen one.

bonestonne Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 i think i've only seen one laptop without s-video...but it was fugly and old.
