Can't say I know exactly what you're talking about, but check it's features or formats pages. I saw both of the extensions you mentioned in there.

I don't need an image viewer. I need a utility to convert a bootable ima file to img file, for a PXE network boot server.

Agree ! But There is no need to convert .ima to .img; Both can be used with same manner.
