Geckotek Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 Someone here gave a hint to do some step before another to avoid Nero from coming up as "Demo" in the start menu. Anybody here recall what that was?I'd search for it, but for some stupid reason I can't do a search on "Nero" (it's to small?!!!)
gosh Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 I posted how to register nero in an unattended install hereIs that what you mean?-gosh
orange Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 isnt it illigal to actualy bypass or crack a program check the rules see them here
gosh Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 lol what? I didn't post my serial for nero or show to bypass registration or crack nero. I just posted how to import your serial through a .reg file that you can use in an unattended install. There's nothing wrong with that.-gosh

Geckotek Posted October 11, 2003 Author Posted October 11, 2003 I posted how to register nero in an unattended install hereIs that what you mean?-goshWell, that isn't exactly it.No, I'm not cracking the program, I'm importing the registration # like Gosh said.Neway, the way my install works, it ends up saying Nero Demo in the start menu. Someone on here mentioned specific steps a while back to avoid this. I think it had to do w/ order things were done.
orange Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 ok sorry than i did mis understood you probably ....i apologize for this misunderstanding :/
Geckotek Posted October 11, 2003 Author Posted October 11, 2003 Answered my own question....you can search "nero demo"....just not "nero."Here's what I was looking for:http://board.MSFN.org/index.php?showtopic=...63&hl=nero+demo
Aaron Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 Anyone tried unattended install of Nero 6?Yeah, why?
Mike500 Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 Yeah, why?Just curious if they changed anything, especially with the registration (haven't tried 6.x yet). But it sounds like it's the same?
Aaron Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 http://www.MSFN.org/unattended/xp/applicat...ations/nero.htmIt's only one key that needs to be imported this time.
Mike500 Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 Thanks AaronXP. Something i noticed, maybe you want to update the guide with Diskeeper 8 and Norton Antivirus 2004.
anwar123 Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 if you install the reg before installing nero you get a Nero Ultra Edition
