is there any way to make a document password protected?

Why on earth do you want to have all your passwords in one place??????? :unsure: It seems really.... unsafe. If someone gets just that one password, they have all of them. :ph34r: But if you must, then I would agree that a PDF with security would be good, you can even put passwords on Word documents.

roboform for me. all my passwords stored for sites.

roboform also has safenotes - you can store id's, ss #, etc. in safenotes with one password.

it costs $.

how do i put password protect on word document? cuz i dont want 2 use the software lol...

in openoffice just check the 'save with passwords' box. Or like I said use rar encryption. Those are 2 solutions to use without any software.

You can try TrueCrypt (its freeware, make a (hidden) volume and store your passwords there, or use a GnuPG encryption if you won't use a SecureLogon tool like the one above this reply
