Kelsenellenelvian Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Why not just try it?It REALLY can be as simple as that
h4ns9l Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 yes u need to try it.Ive made a few Ultimate cds. Keep aero, superfetch, readyboost, component thingy (for hotfixes), sidebar, image viewer and ethernet drivers. I think thats all I have on ths build im using right now. Works fone so far.
nuhi Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 smartbuddy, now you got it, select all and uselect those 2, then you'll have around 640-650MB ISO.If you're using 700MB CD you can keep many more small components, probably all the services if you want that at all.And most importantly 0.95 can split image on more CDs, so if it's little above 700 just use second CD!
bledd Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 removing search doesn't remove the function to search, it just removes indexingindexing scans your pc when it's not in use (its supposed to do it when it's not in use!) then keeps a record of where files are, then when you do a search it opens the record file, so it can quickly find where the files are^that's what it's designed for anyway, personally i disable it, as i never search my whole pc, i just search within subfolders or just manually browse
chessonly Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 and most importantly 0.95 can split image on more CDs, so if it's little above 700 just use second CD! wow this works!! thanks nuhi , great feature . Will prevent waste of blank DVDs
