  1. Hey, Just got halo 2 for pc but cant get it to install on vista that i tweaked with Vlite. I found a forum that says you need secondary logon enabled to run the installed but i removed that process when I used vlite. Is there anyway to put it back on my system without formatting and reinstalling? thanks
  2. Well I got the DLL from a friend placed it in the system 32 folder and now the Card games work. Recap: From full install..... Copied the Microsoft game files from Programs directory (around 109MB) onto a CD Reinstalled Vista without games. Copied the Microsoft games files back in programs directory, placed CardGames.dll in system32 Copied .exe for each game in the Games link in the Start Menu Side note, You can copy individual screen savers dlls into system32 as well. I only kept my favorite ones.
  3. My pleasure, all the thanks goes to you nuhi.

    help

yes u need to try it. Ive made a few Ultimate cds. Keep aero, superfetch, readyboost, component thingy (for hotfixes), sidebar, image viewer and ethernet drivers. I think thats all I have on ths build im using right now. Works fone so far.
  5. Well I figured it out. If anyone cares the required part is the "task scheduler" Its small and definitely worth keeping in a barebone build. Still got ultimate on a cdr with aero, task schedular, components, super fetch and ready boost.
  6. i have a barebone install. I forgot to save the cardgames.dll when i had the full version installed. I was hoping someone could help me out insead of me having to format reinstall full version, then format and reinstall barebone install. Just for a dll. I was sayin i cant find the dll on the dvd. Can someone uploadit please
  7. Hey, I removed all the vista games when making it fit on a cd-r. My plan was to install the games and screensavers of my choice once the bareboned install was complete. I got chess working but the card games need the dll called CardGames.dll to execute. Can someone please upload this file or let me know where on the original vista dvd I can find it. Ive searched the dvd with no luck. Someone told me it may be hidden in a cab file. thanks in advanced
  8. hey, So I sumwhat successfully got Ultimate onto a CD-R. Installed it and now the only problem im having is connecting my computer to an external display. Does anyone know what I removed that caused this feature to stop working properly? When I click "connect to external display" windows mobility center pops up. When I click connect to display from the mobility center the external display flickers but no image appears. I can get my background on the external display through the display settings but not more then my background. The only solution i've found is to install the ATI control panel and make the external display my secondary monitor "cloned". When I had the full version of vista installed the ATI control panel was not necessary to connect to the external display. Hopefully someone can shed some light. Thanks
  9. Hey, I recently used vlite to get my vista build onto a cd-r. To do this i had to strip down prettmy much everything. Before installing my barebone vista I saved the games from my full install and am now tryin to install them manually into my barebone install. I got all games working except the card games. When I try to run any card games I get error, need CardGames.dll Can someone please upload CardGames.dll or tell me where I can get it in the original Vista DVD. Scanning the DVD doesnt find it. Im assuming its hidden in a cab file somewhere. thanks in advance
