February 11, 200719 yr I have this dsl of 256 kbps.I get a download speed of around 10-30 kbps.I was just wondering if there is any way to divert this speed and put it only for bitcomet or anyother software??Wat I mean to say is that if Iam using internet browser and bitcomet at the same time the speed is shared between those two..Instead I want the speed to completely go to one particular software..Wat should I do?
February 11, 200719 yr Well, you could use some third party software like "Net Limiter" to control this or even better if you have a router, then you can control it through its QoS "Quality of Service".
February 11, 200719 yr Not under windows. But in bitcomet, be sure not to let it upload at max speed. Sstay 4 to 8Kb/s under your max upload.

February 11, 200719 yr It has something to do with being able to send ACK packets. If you want to download at x kb/s, you need at least x/16 kb/s of free upload. That's the way tcpip works. If you want more details, google for "ACK".
