BoardBabe Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 Im sharing files over my LAN however people running XP cannot access my shared files. I can access theirs though. When trying to access the Vista computers shared files from an XP machine they will get a message that the user has not got the rights to access. How to I resolve this? NaelAmer Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 if ur on a WORKGROUP then u have to set a same usernames and passwords on both.. if u disable the password on them or one of them it will not work.. both has to have same user names with same passwords..
