ok my freind has been messing about lookin at naked ladies on my pc while i was out of the room and has put spmething on my pc!!! now when i right click while im on the net inbetween refresh and properties is a new tab that says >> free porn galleries <<. git is there any way i can take this off?

Its always a friend that looks up the porn, isnt it? :)

To remove this kind of junk, first try going to Start --> Run ---> msconfig

Click the startup tab, and uncheck any programs that look a little suspicious.

If that doesnt work, alt + ctrl + del to see if you can find any wierd .exe's floating around in your processes. End task them one at a time and check to see if the bar is gone. If you manage to kill it this way, make sure you search your PC for the .exe file, and delete it.

A much simpler way would be to download Adaware6. It's a program that searches your computer for this kind of software, and removes it for you.

oh yeah ad aware, forgot about that beast, will do! thanx matey :)

Run a search on the registry for "free porn galleries". And delete anything it finds.

go to start-run type "regedit", hit Ctrl+F and type what you want to search for.

One stop download: "Spybot Search and destroy" It will eliminate any referance to porn dialers, etc etc. It's the best programm by far. Test it and you will no lose :)
