sHaDYvB Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Hii guys , I've made my WPI config , and done everything just great ,,, I've been testing my WPI installation on a fresh windows install , using VMware to try again and again with the help of snapshots ..However, When completed my whole installation , i integrated WPI with nLited version of SP2 , and began testing ..Whenever the WPI installation stage comes , i can c the old WPI.cmd window ( which i hate :/ ) comes up , then WPI.hta starts to load , and still the cmd window shows till the end of installation I need to find a solution for this :/ i've just finished everything and this is annoying me
Kelsenellenelvian Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 How are you calling WPI? Aer you using the $oem$ folder that is suggested or guirunonce or even starting it manually?
sHaDYvB Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 from nLite Runonce , it's called through nLite.cmd i think so ..should i ignore nLite and go with Winnt.sif ?
Kelsenellenelvian Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I would just use the suggested $oem$ file you can download.
sHaDYvB Posted February 4, 2007 Author Posted February 4, 2007 using cmdlines.txt calling a .cmd file should produce a cmd window also , but i'll try and cthanks for the fast reply
sHaDYvB Posted February 4, 2007 Author Posted February 4, 2007 i did it , but due to wpi name it didn't work the first time and gave me path error ( which is good ) ,,but the cmd window still appears !!!i thought this is WPI's cmd file we used in earlier versions , which searchs for the cd drive letter and executes wpi using the environment variable .. but if it ain't WPI , what is causing it!! i think i'll have to ask nuhi about this ..
Kelsenellenelvian Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 What does the command window say in it?
arabianhorse Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 hican i try to helpdownload the attach file then put it inside the $OEM$ folderthen add the WPI.exe in the command text lineInsert Image . Here is an example to guide you :finaly make shor the wpi folder like this now the wpi will run smoothly after the first login
sHaDYvB Posted February 5, 2007 Author Posted February 5, 2007 thanks arabianhorse for help , i've already done that .. but it was still making the same window ..but it seems that some of the nLite addons i made is the cause , cuz when i removed them it went smooth and tidy ..i'll track it down thanks guys
