ttommyfunkenstien
I ran into an issue with a HP Photoprint so I uninstalled it but left the printer alone. After reinstallation I plugged the printer back in and started loading the drivers from the website. While doing this the the HW wizard loads, tried to get the printer drivers, recognizes the printer, then fails the install. Did I mention the loop? No I didn't. It's looping continuosly and failing with no way to go back and select a driver manually OR disable it from asking again. It won't stop. edit: while writing this I came up with another possible fix to delete the printer, and all the drivers it's asscociated with. Maybe that'll work and I'll find out later but in the meantime does anyone here have an answer/suggestion?
Jeremy
Try uninstalling them via Device Manager, unplug them, reboot, plug them back in and try again. Also, you might try going to C:\WINDOWS\INF\ and deleting all the .PNF files, then try.
