Recommended Posts

Figured some of you guys might be interested in the network bootdisk I've put together.

The disk includes the m$ network client, currently 85* different NIC drivers, CD-ROM, DNS, packet driver, mouse support -- all on a single 1.44MB Floppy disk!

More infomation, the the files for building the disk, is on my website:

http://www.NetBootdisk.com

Works well with Ghost multicasting too :)

Enjoy!

*might have problems with 1 or 2 though. Still always next verison :D

EDIT: New website!

EDIT 2: New URL :D

Hello again! Just an update, my site recently changed URL's. Teach me for not having a .com

The bootdisk has seen quite a bit of work (+ late nights, softdrink, beer, lost sleep, etc) since I oringinally posted this thread.

Now at Version 4.91, which includes 77 different network card drivers packed on to single 1.44MB floppy disk. It's a tight fit, but I think there'll be room for one or two more :thumbup

Excellent disk! Worked w/ ghost on every machine I have at work. :thumbup

Cheers

a reminder for those people who want to put this on a multiboot cd, the XP and ME dos boot disks can't be run by memdisk, but the other option for this boot floppy, a PC-DOS 7 boot disk, works with memdisk quite nicely :)
